This is it. I've come full circle.
Story: The sixth human to Fall has escaped the underground, having killed off all the boss monsters. The weak who were spared are more hopeless than ever, dreading the next day, walking on eggshells with each other, fights breaking out everyday between every other monster... A teenage Sans is just trying to take care of his baby brother in all this mess. The house their father left them is falling down around their heads and Sans' fulltime job at Grillby's isn't enough to even feed the two of them. While playing in the woods with his brother, Sans finds Papyrus with the Seventh human- except this one never Fell.
Dye has lived in the underground for awhile now, hiding out in their Tiny House, faraway from the other monsters. This AU is depressing, but the residents are so caught up in the own problems that they don't notice the inter dimensional traveller, all alone in his own corner of the world. They'd been on the run for awhile now, with an angry Ink on his trail, but now he's safe... ... Until the brothers stumble upon him. Now, Dye has to hop worlds again, afraid he'll cause trouble for another AU, but accidentally drags a young Sans and Papyrus along, who in turn find themselves exploring the many Undertale Variants together.
Dye: a soulless Gaster!Frisk who fell into the doodlesphere and stole Ink Sans' ink. They return to their home AU, Heavytale, and try to live their life quietly.
Heavy: the Heavytale Sans. He's concerningly optimistic...
