Listen to "Make it up to you" by Kyden.
They were done checking in at the airport and were now sitting, thinking of ways to spend their time until their flight arrives. Minho got the tickets yesterday from Jung Soo, and today, they were all leaving for Canada. Kind of excited, but kind of sad too because the work that was supposed to be done by Changbin was being done by Minho, as he is not here with them anymore. Minho took turns to glance at the younger guys, but none of them gave a damn about what he was trying to say. They were busy playing games on their phones.
"Felix, Jisung, we are not going there to have fun, please be serious about it. And Lix, you know what you have to do right?" Minho asked, grabbing both of their attention.
"Of course. We want the same person, just for different purposes."
"Be serious."
"Just kidding. I know what I need to do."
"Wait, Felix, is there something I haven't caught up on between you two?" Jisung asks, interrupting them.
"Oh actually-" Felix cut the older short, as always, and began his heart crushing goodbye story.
"So what happened was, I met him in high school, we went to the same one. Though he was my senior, I was bold enough to go talk to him. Like, can you believe it? The cute, sensitive guy courageously going up to talk to the heartthrob?"
Minho couldn't help but roll his eyes at Felix calling himself cute for the 26789th time. He was, but that's not something you should brag about. Though he acted like he wasn't interested in their conversation, he was concentrating on every word that came out of Felix's mouth. He doesn't remember Felix telling him the same story with this much details, it seems like he's telling a whole new story to Jisung that Minho has never heard of before.
"So, was it like love at first sight for you?" Jisung asks.
"I wouldn't call mine love because, every girl, some boys too, and half the population of female teachers 'loved' him too."
"Oh my god that's crazy." Jisung gasped.
"So you can say I've a crush on him. A huge one."
"No wonder you're so happy about going to Canada." Jisung says.
"Guess what? I even looked him up on social media, he isn't the active kinda guy but I can't help but drool over the only 3 images he posted after signing up. And I know where he lives in Canada, all thanks to my hacking skills."
"Gross." Minho commented.
"Hey! Don't be so mean to me." Felix smacked his arm.
Minho just massaged his arm in pain, because that was quite a hard one, not that he minded. He checked the time, it was almost time. More like 5 minutes left. It felt strange to him that he wasn't sad, like weeping-like-sad, about Changbin. It was just the third day after his death, he wasn't supposed to get over it so early. Maybe that's because he was going to do something that Changbin wanted him to do, and that he could be of his help, of a dead man but still his dear bestfriend.
But damn, I can't help missing him. I really wish he was here with us.
After the announcement was done, the trio was headed off to start their new journey, in a new place with new people. On their way to convince Hwang Hyunjin to be a member of their little crew, which was undoubtedly not going to be easy.
_
Now, they were all immersed in their own works, Felix was playing games, Jisung was watching videos offline that he downloaded last night, most of them were related to music, and Minho was the only one reading magazines. Typical difference between GenZ and Millennial. The flight took off just after a few minutes, giving the passengers an announcement of fastening their seatbelts.
