Listen to "Yours" by Conan Gray.

Hwang Min Jun bursted into his office furiously but his demeanor changed as soon as his eyes fell on Chan who was peacefully taking drags from his cigar. Chan smiled and dropped his the object from his hands, crushing it under his foot. Min Jun bowed, his hands turning cold due to the anxiety he was feeling after seeing the latter. It was unusual of him to visit Min Jun, and when he did, it surely meant that the older did something wrong. And when he used to do something wrong, Chan's punishment gets directed towards his son.

You never know what's going on in Chan's mind, he might slice you into pieces or even give you a hug.

Min Jun loved his son, and that's why he's so careful about his job. Hyunjin is already suffering because of his father's mistakes, he can't make some more. Chan was a person who would never kill you if you want to get killed. And Min Jun is always ready to accept the punishment he deserves, which is exactly why Chan is always making Hyunjin's life hell instead of his father's. Min Jun swallowed and took a seat opposing Chan who was sitting on the older's armchair with his legs resting on the table.

Chan motioned towards the mug containing black coffee for Min Jun to drink it. With trembling hands, Min Jun grabbed the mug handle and took a sip. He almost spat it out at Chan, the coffee was cold, without any sugar, and bitter as fuck. But he can't complain, he will need to drink it. He squeezed his eyes shut and drank the coffee in one go.

"Do you know why I'm here?" Chan asks, staring at the painting hanging on the wall.

"No, sir."

"Where is your son?"

"In the company, sir."

"Fine, then. I'll be taking my leave."

Since Chan came here himself, Min Jun knew it wasn't irrelevant. It did have something to do with either Hyunjin or him. He's probably testing if Min Jun really knows something or is oblivious. There was a photo frame kept on the table, which had Hyunjin and his father's photo. Chan grabbed the red marker and drew a cross on Hyunjin's face. That could mean only one thing or nothing at all. Chan likes to see people going insane. Min Jun's phone began to ring, he was hesitant to pick it up but Chan said,

"Take the call, put it on speaker."

The man on the other side of the call began speaking, "Mr. Hwang we are sorry to inform but young master Hwang has gone out last night without letting us know. We just found out this morning, thanks to Mr. Bahng."

Min Jun was struggling to keep hold of his phone. It was Hyunjin who made the mistake. But what will he do now? It's not any better this way, but only if Min Jun's securities found out about it first, they still would have gotten the chance to put the blame on someone else, or handle the matter without much hassle and let Chan know about it later. But Chan knows now. That's like their biggest fear coming true. Min Jun lowers his lingering orbs, and speaks into the phone,

"And what were you doing? And Seungmin? Where was he?"

"He's the one who went out last night giving an oddly reasonable excuse, so it should be him who took young master Hwang out."

Min Jun would've pulled at his hairs and screamed his lungs out if it weren't for Chan. He realized that his mistake was to even hire and trust Seungmin for this job. A belief settled on his mind that Chan will kill both his son and him. Maybe not the son, since he's the double-sided sword. Day-by-day he discovers the different levels of greediness a single person can have by seeing Chan. And at what extent a person needs to stop going down for money and power and dominance is unknown to the said man.
