okay so I was talking to my mom today about dress codes bc they piss me off more than anything and she was like well if it's distracting someone then they need to change and I was like hold up hold the fuck up
1) if my body is distracting someone so much so that I need to be taken out of class to change then there is a much deeper problem then my outfit
2) why am I being punished for having boobs and a booty and fucking shoulders
3) why are you putting my education on hold for a dumbass who can't stop looking at my booty
4) why the hell do starts have to be 3 fingers instead of 2 like holy hell that'd such a huge difference I bet all of the boys get boners from my motherfucking shoulder
I get dress codes in some sense like don't wear a shirt with racial slurs or drug paraphernalia or the word cunt on it and I get that I we shouldn't be wearing our undies to school or coming in naked but when I have to wear a skirt that is a certain length based on body ratio it crosses the line
and just stop sexualizing women's body's honestly
and stop teaching guys that it's okay to and that they can do whatever they damn well please
also why are we focussed so much on what people are wearing when the U.S. needs to work on the damn education that we are getting bc it's definitely not up to the right standards
