A/N: This is a Love Actually Inspired One-Shot, meaning that some things may be changed to match the story. This story is based on Jamie and Aurelia (most people know it as the Portuguese story!)

Also, I used Google Translate for the Italian so sorry if it's incorrect!

I will offset the NSFW content so those who are uncomfortable reading it know where to skip to.

You've never been a particularly loquacious person, preferring to keep to yourself and your books whenever possible. Books are simple. They don't give off mixed signals. They don't talk behind your back. They're nice. Predictable. Quiet.

When you're at Hogwarts, you often spend your spare time reading. You don't go to Hogsmeade, you don't watch Quidditch. The Black Lake and the library are almost always where you can be found. They're nice. Predictable. Quiet.

As an introvert, you don't have a lot of friends at Hogwarts, much to your parents' chagrin. They were always pushing for you to make friends with the other purebloods. Your mother was all too eager for you to find a man that actually caught your eye. You knew that as soon as you turned 18, she'd be trying to match you to some insufferable pureblood boy who couldn't look at anyone other than himself for longer than thirty seconds. But still, she tried. And tried. And tried.

That is why when Mr. Nott---one of the most respectable heads of a pureblood house---asked them if his son, Theodore, could stay at your family's estate for the month of June, they heartily agreed. Your mother thought it was a perfect opportunity to get their daughter out of her shell and into a potential future husband's arms. Your father saw it as a way to potentially earn the respect of a high-class man. Plus, the idea of marrying off his slightly insolent (in his eyes) daughter was also a bonus.

You were less than thrilled with the idea of sharing a home with someone you had never met, especially if your nosy parents were going to be playing matchmaker all year. You could practically see the way your mother's mouth watered as she told you that his bedroom would be right next to yours. What kind of mother actually wants her daughter to sleep with a strange man? This wasn't the first time that you wished your life could just be normal, that someone could actually see you for who you were beyond the quiet exterior. This wasn't the first time that you wished your mother would actually treat you like a normal daughter. You sighed before going back to your book, knowing that this could quite possibly be the longest month of your life.

As predicted, he arrived on your family's doorstep on the very first day of June with just a small trunk and a bored look on his face, not eager to leave his beautiful Italian villa for a random home in the UK. Theo wasn't, by nature, too much of an introvert, quieter than most but still a popular boy at his school, the prestigious Stati Magia in northern Italy. But still, he resigned to spend as little time as possible with your family. He was used to witches throwing themselves at him because of his looks, money, and social status. In his mind, that's all you were too. Just another witch whose family wanted to buy him with a flashy estate and pretty daughter.

But that all changed---for both of you---when you saw each other. Theo couldn't help but be entranced by the beautiful girl flashing him a small smile. You were nervous, that was obvious, even to him, but you weren't twirling your hair and bending your chest over. No, you were just smiling at him. Like he was normal. He was never one to be too interested in girls but something about you caught his eye. She's beautiful, he thought to himself as he stared into your deep eyes. He felt as if he was staring into your soul. And he loved the looks of it. He bit his lip excitedly upon seeing you, realizing that his luck may have finally turned up.

Meanwhile, you swore that you could feel a spark between you and the man with deep, dark eyes. You found him attractive, yes, there was no denying that. With his tousled brown hair and charismatic aura, it was hard not to be drawn to him. This was a man that knew what he wanted but that also knew it would come to him. You realized that, perhaps, a month with this man wouldn't be so bad after all.
