I need answers

I grip the sheets tightly in my hands as I snapped out of my sleep; I shot up right and began to frantically search the room. My eyes darting around the room of the Zora Princess as all my memories came back.

I glanced over to the Princess. Zelda was sound asleep, undisturbed by my sudden waking. The sunlight that was shining through the windows lit her golden locks, causing them to glow like molten metals. Just looking at her calmed my racing heart.

I couldn't help but extend a finger towards her face, my had shaking slightly as I tucked a strand of her hair behind her long pointed ear. Zelda looked so peaceful laying sound asleep. She was such a beauty to look at, that I almost forgot what I had just woken up from.

That nightmare. That nightmare had returned but this time... This time it was different.  My parents had been killed, they never abandoned me, had Master Kohga knew this the whole time and lied to me? Possibly, but if so why?

There was so many questions running through my mind and yet no way to seemingly answer them all. Not while I was here that is.

I climbed out of the bed and began to pace around the room, my bare feet plodding along the cold, blue stone flooring. Using my hand as a wipe to clear my face of the sweat droplets that were forming and rolling down my face as I stressed over the seemingly infinite number of questions that were now plaguing my mind.

Grabbing my shoes and slipping them on, I began to head over to the door. I was determined for answers and even if Master Kohga was the only one who knew the truth, I would hunt him down and get my answers. Nothing could stand in my way...

Or so I thought. As I reached the doorway, I couldn't help but take a look back over my shoulder at the perfect Princess that lay there in her royal blue tunic and black leggings. I couldn't see her face as she had her back to the doorway but I knew it was the picture of peace and serenity.

"Damn it." I mumbled under my breath. She was always the one thing in the way of my mission. I couldn't kill Link because of her and now I can't leave to find out the truth because of her. I wanted to leave her a note or something but I just didn't have the time. I just need to leave, I'll be back soon I'm sure, I reassured myself.

I turned away, not wanting to see her laying there, in fear that if I look again I will never leave this room. "Goodbye Princess." I whispered before I pushed open the door and stepped out, closing it softly behind me. I didn't want to leave her but she was in more than capable hands and I know what I have to do.

Kohga will give me answers... Even if it's the last thing he does...

Ooma walked into a shadowy room, lit by a few dying candles. "Master... I'm sorry but Y/n has betrayed us..." Ooma's voice trembled with her words, her cheeks stained with tears that were hidden under her cold white mask.

Looking up she could see the looming silhouette of a large man sat in a chair. It was darker than usual so only his white mask was clearly visible, the rest of him was clouded in shadows until Master Kohga sat forward in his chair and the weak candle light lit the rest of his red suited body, "I hadn't seen this coming..." Kohga paused as he took a bite of banana. "This does ruin our plan a little doesn't it?" Ooma was confused by how seemingly unaffected Master Kohga, she wasn't sure if he was an idiot, unaware of what this meant or if he was so powerful that this new threat didn't even phase him.

"Master, I would personally like to hunt down and kill Y/n myself, with your approval of course." Ooma said, anger stirring in her voice as she spoke.

Master Kohga thought for a moment before sitting back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face all hidden from Ooma by his mask. "Don't fail me." He whispered.

"I would never! Thank you Master Kogha." Ooma bowed before turning and leaving the room as she gripped her bow tightly.
