The last time I went to the paddock was when I was 18 before I went to university. Now, I've finished and I'm starting my career in media management. I'm yet to find a job so in the meantime I've basically got free time!
My dad had spoken to me earlier this week explaining how this would be his last season in formula one. I could tell he wasn't happy by it. He was sad and it made me very worried. I'd agreed then and there that I would follow Aston Martin around for the season whilst I looked for a job.
I knew I'd be met with new faces and some old ones too. I was quite excited to see Lewis again. I remember I used to hide with him and Coco in his drivers room when I'd pranked dad in the past.
I have to admit I hadn't really caught up with formula one, since I was last at Bahrain. I'm sure it will be interesting. I have acknowledged that Max, George and Lando had moved up with a few other people I hadn't met. I know I'll be able to make some friends and who knows maybe I'll find a job.
*Time skip to arriving at Bahrain (third person)*
As ElleCee arrived at the paddock for media day on Friday she was greeted with paparazzi. She had expected it, but she didn't anticipate this much. She hurried towards Aston Martin's garage.
She was almost there as she looked down to avoid looking at the bright sun scorching down on her. Suddenly, she was met with a hard chest. She stumbled back almost falling over but catching herself last minute. She looked up to apologise, although she didn't, she glared up at a snickering Charles Leclerc. The same Charles Leclerc that hated her ever since she could remember.
It was undeniable that he was attractive. She pushed that thought away as quickly as it had come.
"Watch where you're going Little Vettel" he growled as he pushed past her and walked off.
She was shocked, he hadn't even given her a chance to retaliate. ElleCee quickly walked over to see her Dad already watching her. She smiled at him and ran over to hug him. As the two embraced she whispered, " I've missed you so much". He smiled into the hug as they let go.
She caught up with her father and she was surprised at how his views had changed since she had last spoken to him.
He didn't mind retiring anymore he only chuckled and said " well I have to give new talent a chance at some point". She respected him very much and she knew once this season was over he would never be forgotten and she was sure he knew too.
Soon after, her father was called for free practice. She decided to go see some of her old friends.
She strode over confidently towards the Red Bull garage. She walked in without a second glance. She knew where she stood, she knew where Christian stood. She made her way towards him and gently tapped his shoulder.
As he turned around to face her his face lit up. Ever since she was a child he had taken a liking to her as much as she had to him. She was well aware she was always welcome at Red Bull.
She thought of Christian as a second dad and she used to tell him everything. He was one of the few that knew who her real biological parents were.
Although, he was very much surprised and happy to see her. He had some important news for her. Something that not even he could predict how she would react to.
It was something that concerned him enough to take her towards his office for some privacy.
