Gingerbread houses! <3

Authors note! I think for these few day my one shots will be centered around Christmas since I love Christmas since its so joyful! I hope you enjoy!

T'was a few days before Christmas however... A certain blonde had an idea.

"ALHAITHAM!" Shouted Kaveh from across the house as he ran over to Alhaitham. "What now Kaveh..?" Alhaitham sighed as Kaveh came up to him.

"I was talking with a few Krshrewar (I promise I know how to spell lol) colleagues from our Akademiya days and they mentioned that it's fun to make..!" Kaveh said very excited as Alhaitham looked at him waiting for him to finish his sentence. "Gingerbread houses!" Kaveh said happily.

"And no. I'm not into that. It seems to be a waste of time." Alhaitham said giving a slight smirk at Kaveh knowing he'd be annoyed.

"Aww! C'mon! Please, we can invite Cyno and Nari over so they could do it with us! It could even be a competition!" Kaveh said happily. "And it's not because you always lose when we play TCG that your obviously trying to win this competition?" Alhaitham smirked at Kaveh.

"Y-you..! Who cares! I'm gonna invite Cyno and Nari anyways!" Kaveh said smiling annoyed at Alhaitham.

After 2 days Tighnari and Cyno came over and Kaveh had already bought 4 gingerbread houses.

"Nari, Cyno. What do you think about a gingerbread competition?" Kaveh asked curiously.

"Sure,why not?" Tighnari said. "Well it shouldn't be crumby, it's gingerbread afterall." Cyno said.

Everybody was silent. "I think you just ruined Christmas for me..." Kaveh said slowly. "Me too..." Tighnari said staring at Cyno. "What, not funny?" Asked Cyno. "Just- don't." Kaveh said.

"Let's just build these houses." Kaveh said slowly. "I'll join too, it seems interesting and I think I can beat Kaveh." Alhaitham joined in as he sat down next to Kaveh. Cyno sat next to Tighnari and they began working on the houses.

After a bit Tighnari showed his house to Cyno, it was a floral small gingerbread cottage. Cyno smiled as he showed his which was a simple house with a Mahamatra symbol on it. "Isn't it nice? Collei taught me a year ago how to make a gingerbread house. Your house is nice...but why do you have tons of weapons outside the house..?" Tighnari looked at Cynos house.

"You all are slow. I'm finished." Alhaitham said as he looked up from his book from the couch. "YOUR DONE ALRE-" Kaveh shouted only to see Alhaithams house. It was a normal house. No decorations. Literally nothing.

"That has no effort put in it!" Kaveh shouted as he pointed at the house.

"Really? Cause to me, mine is better, your taking to long." Alhaitham smirked confidently.

"Oh? You wanna bet?" Kaveh said as he smirked as he showed his gingerbread house.

"It's a mini Palace Of Alcazarzaray!" Kaveh shouted happily.

"Why is it always the palace? Have you simply ran out of ideas?" Alhaitham teased Kaveh. Being roommates, he knew how to get under Kavehs skin.

"You..! It's my Magnum opus! It's very special!" Kaveh said very annoyed at Alhaitham.

"Uh hu..." Alhaitham said sarcastically. "Ugh whatever!" Kaveh turned back to his house trying to make sure it was perfect.

After that was done all 4 were finished and of course... Kaveh won.

"Hah! I beat you Haitham!" Kaveh smirked at Alhaitham gloating in his face.

Alhaitham knew this would be his reaction and Alhaitham knew he'd lose. Kaveh barely has the time to do fun things but Alhaitham decided to make time too to have fun with Kaveh. Though the two always fight they still care for eachother as roommates.

"Wait...I just realized..." Kaveh said as he looked around. "What? Bread got your tongue? Get it? We just ate the houses and usually it's cat, but a cat would make sen-" suddenly Kaveh shouted at Cyno to stop him from explaining.

"I've...BEEN SOBER THIS ENTIRE TIME DEALING WITH YOUR DUMB ASS PUNS AND JOKES!" Kaveh said as he got up from the counter running to find a bottle of wine in the cabinets.

"Aha!" Suddenly Kaveh popped open the lid and began chugging the wine.

"Kaveh!" Tighnari rushed up to him. "That's not healthy!" Tighnari argued trying to pull the wine away from Kaveh. "Well tell Cyno to stop making horrendous puns! I can't stay sober, you know this Nari!" Kaveh said pulling back.

But then the wine fell on the floor.

Alhaitham looked at them annoyed but Tighnari was worried however Kaveh bent down and looked at the wine.

"MY WIIINNEEEEE!" Kaveh whined. "That's what you get. You should have more control over yourself." Tighnari said looking away annoyed at Kaveh.

In the end Cyno and Tighnari left early and Kaveh had to clean up the mess.

"This sucks...you suck Haitham." Kaveh pouted as he mopped the mess.

"No I don't. That's your opinion and it's not a mathematical fact." Alhaitham said getting up.

"C'mon can you help me?" Kaveh complained.

"Fine." Alhaitham grabbed the mop from Kaveh and began cleaning the floor himself. "Go sleep. It's late anyways. You don't have a client tomorrow since it's Christmas soon. So just rest." Alhaitham said looking at Kaveh.

"Fine..." Kaveh sighed.

After 10 minutes Alhaitham turned off the kitchen lights and headed to his bedroom.

Once he got there he changed into more comfortable clothes but saw someone on his bed.

"Kaveh..." Alhaitham sighed.

"Kaveh get up." Alhaitham tapped Kavehs shoulder softly but once again tapped the blonde a bit harder. but the blonde only softly moved though still asleep.

"Alhaitham..." Kaveh said softly and quietly as Alhaitham looked at him. He was talking in his sleep.

"I...had fun tonight..." Kaveh said his voice sounding soft as if he truly meant it and not a snarky reply that he'd usually do from all their fights.

Kaveh smiled softly as Alhaitham rolled his eyes at the tired blonde. "I had fun too." Alhaitham said quietly to not wake up the blonde, as he smiled at Kaveh softly. he got in bed not kicking Kaveh out but simply leaving the blonde in his bed to sleep.

I hope you enjoyed this one shot! I really love Christmas! It's just such an energetic and happy time of the year! I had fun with this and enjoyed writing it. It feels nice to have written something shorter since before this I made a Kaveh x Alhaitham story which lasted for quite a bit if chapters and every chapter simply got longer. Even so I hope you enjoyed this one shot! If you guys have any idea you want me to write, it can be angst, fluff, and maybe smut. But even so have a good day or night! Byeee! <3
