"I don't trust him," Scott spat. "He's probably just trying to get in here to get information for Romulus."

"Romulus is dead," Logan said. "And Daken doesn't remember anything. He doesn't remember Romulus or even Osborn's Dark Avengers."

"Wasn't he the only one who survived Asgard?"

"Yeah,"

"I still don't trust him," stated Scott. "He seems way too full of himself to actually join forces with us."

"He's not full of himself," said Logan, "he's just like me."

"And you're full of yourself." Storm said.

"Where's Xavier?" Logan asked, changing the subject.

"With your son," said Beast. "I think he's found a new protege."

"How are the students?"

"A little shaken but fine," said Nightcrawler. "Rogue and Iceman want to help in your next mission."

"Absolutely not!" Logan seethed instantly. "We can't risk Rogue or Iceman getting hurt!"

"Rogue isn't your child!" Scott said. "And you seem pretty fine with sending your kids into dangerous situations! Look where you put Laura!"

"They're trained for dangerous situations! Rogue isn't! Laura and Gabby have prepared for this!"

"I guess the only thing they haven't been prepared for are actual villains," seethed Scott. "Sure they can go up against Magneto and his mutants but in the real world? They wouldn't stand a chance. I know we were barely able to beat Magneto but if we would have to fight the Dark Avengers? We would be decimated. And your son Daken is a whole other level if he can take them down from the inside while fighting the punisher and surviving gods."

"Good speech, Scott,"

The X-men whirled around to see Professor X wheeling in with Daken behind him.

"Speak of the devil," muttered Scott.

"And he shall appear," added Nightcrawler.

"Hope we're not interrupting," said Charles as he entered the room further.

"There's nothing happening in here," said Logan. "We're just talking."

"Just talking?" Charles raised his eyebrows. "I don't think Scott can be 'just talking' about your son Logan."

Scott jumped, "How do you know about that?"

"We could hear you from down the hall,"

"Well," Scott said, "if you heard me from down the hall then you know what I think."

"Yes," said Charles tiredly. "I know you think Daken should be murdered, cut up into little pieces, and thrown into the ocean."

Scott blanched, "I never wanted you to read my mind! How dare you! That's an invasion of my privacy!"

"Don't 'invasion of your privacy' me," said Charles. "If you do that one more time, I'll tell everyone what you dream about at night."

Scott swallowed and nodded.

"We gotta go," said Nightcrawler. "Come on, Beast."

They walked out, leaving Logan and Scott alone with me and Charles.

"Daken, you can go too," said Charles.

"What, why?"

"I said, you can go,"

I saw Scott smirk as I walked out of the room.

Charles Xavier turned to the two men in front of him, his face stone cold.

"Daken is under our protection," he said to Scott. "Daken saved lives, including mine. If he turns on us, we outnumber him and are more trained than him."

He turned to Logan, "Don't let him anywhere near Gabby or Laura. Send them on dangerous mission after dangerous mission if you have to. All you have to do is keep them separated."

He turned his attention to both the men, "Am I clear?"

"Yes Professor X," they both said.

"Good, now go, I have a class to teach here,"

They both ran off.

The best part of Utopia island is the cliffs surrounding it. I found the farthest, most dangerous to get to one, and sat down. The view was pretty. I shivered in a small draft that blew across the island. I let my legs dangle over the edge.

This was a good place to clear my head and get a handle on things. I am on Utopia, the isle of the X-men. I am also Charles Xavier's assistant. Never in a million years did I ever think I would get here. It'll take me a while to get used to this place, to get used to my father being just around the corner.

"I see you've found my spot," said a thick southern accent.

I looked behind me to see a girl, probably one of the students, "I'll go,"

"No," she said, smiling. "I like to have company here. Mind if I sit?"

I moved over. She smiled and sat down.

"Thanks. I'm Rogue, by the way."

"Daken," I said. "It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too," she said. "You new 'ere?"

"Yeah, I just got here today," said Daken.

"Pretty crazy day to start off on Utopia," said Rogue. Daken nodded. "I still don't know 'ow those intruders got onto the island."
