Lillian's POV:
It was busy on my route home, it was 4 PM, though. Everyone was getting off work at this time so I guess I should've known to leave sooner.
Earlier, I got a text from a number I didn't recognize. I waited to open it until I got home incase it was one of my friends who got a new number.
There was a really bad crash on the freeway I was driving on. The drive from mine to Cara's was about half an hour, but at this rate, it'd be an hour or two. Since I had time in traffic, I checked the text that said, 'hiii it's Johnnie', how did he get my number? Weird.
Anyway, the traffic cleared as I drove slowly away from it. It was about 4:30 when I got home.
When I got home, I laid on my phone, then texted Johnnie back.
"hii johnnie! :))"
"yesterday was eventful."
"oh, yeah. How are u feeling?"
"same as yesterday"
":( hope u feel betterrr"
"thank you"I didn't respond.

"soo wyd?" He texted me first.
"lying in bed, feeling kinda sick lol"
"you want me to come over and we can watch a movie?" I could tell he was nervous to send that because he was typing for about 3 minutes.
"yes. omg i've been so bored today. [address]"
"okay. want me to bring anything?"
"uhh whatever you wanna bring should be fine"Honestly, I wasn't actually sick. I just feel kinda drained lately and just not wanted to get out of bed. After the time I spent with Johnnie, I couldn't stop thinking about him, and how he came to me for comfort.
It had been days since somebody reached out to me, except for Johnnie. I felt so alone.
I waited for him to arrive sitting in the barstool next to my island counter. My apartment always smelt good, but wasn't exactly tidy. I had been cleaning up for the past 20 minutes then I just waited on my phone.
I was wearing something that revealed my scars on my hips and thighs, so I changed into sweatpants and a loose shirt. I wasn't wearing any makeup, and didn't really care if he saw me without it.
My phone buzzed and I checked it immediately but it wasn't him. Just instagram. Then I heard a knock at the door.
I opened it to see him smiling in a jacket and pants.
"Hi! Come in."
"It's nice to see you."
"Likewise."
He came in and I closed the door behind him, then took the stuff he brought and set it on the kitchen table.
"So.. what do you wanna do?" I asked.
"Anything, really."
"No- you pick I don't care either."
"I- uhm.. We could play a board game?"
"That sounds fun! I have a bunch of board games so I couldn't choose."
"Do you have CandyLand?"
"One of my favorites." I said in a nerd voice. "Uhm, can you get it? I'll start popcorn. It's in the coffee table."
"Sure."
----TS----
I soon gave up after he beat me endless time. We started watching random videos on my bed that appeared when I opened YouTube on my computer. Including various.. horrendous, YTP videos, we didn't really laugh we just watched them because we were bored.
