Prelude to War

Triarchy crimes have increased. They have started attacking ships belonging to braavos, pentos and meeran. They took women and children as captives. They are confined into bloodstones.

Women are tortured by the soldiers and captains of the triarchy. They have taken four noble girls from house Loraq and house Pahl as captives when their ships are captured. They demanded huge ransom from the wealthy Lord of house Loraq in exchange for girls. When Lord Loraq launched an attack on them, by sending a hundred of slaves to attack them. They couldn't defeat triarchy. Instead girls from their family are tortured and they send the elder daughter head as a warning to the Lord Loraq.

Frequent attacks were launched on the Bravos and pentos ships. They kidnapped the son of the sealord of bravos and the younger sister of the prince of pentos asking for them to surrender. Triarchy planned on capturing all the free cities.

Meeting was called on among the lords of free cities volantis, pentos and braavos. Iron bank decided to fund the war. Lord Loraq of meeran agreed to send his slaves to war for saving his daughters.

Triarchy has hundreds of ships which are capable of attacking them if the dragons are away.

Aegon and viserys started working on the war plan. Aegon is 18,Viserys is 17 and Visenya is 11 at the start of the war.

When the council of free cities met, they started discussing war plan. Viserys asks what do we get for going on this risky mission? Aegon is shocked to hear him speak.

Sealord of bravos and pentos says they protected them for 10 years. They deserve this as a return from them. Viserys says we protected Bravos and pentos more number of times. Without them, Triarchy would have already destroyed their ships and killed hundreds of their people. They protected them all these years from triarchy.

But this is war. It's more dangerous.They will hide in the caves when the dragon attacks them. This mission could kill them. They have their family. What's the price for the risk they are taking. Someone should go without a dragon to see where the prisoners are and how many camps are there on the island.

Council asks him, what do they want.

Viserys says stepstones. It was their father once. We want it back. We wanted it to be recognised as one of the free cities. We will protect the bravos and pentos as we are doing now for the years to come.

Council agreed to his condition. House Loraq and house Pagl agreed to give them 500 slaves each to rebuild the stepstones. Aegon is skeptical about it. But Viserys said it is what they deserve for the risks they take.

It is decided Aegon will go inside stepstones as the spy to know the location of prisoners. Rhaenyra refused to let him go. Daenaera is worried about his safety.But he said, stormcloud will be flying above him always.

Westeros:

Princess Jaehaera had a miscarriage and she became sick. Maesters adviced her to rest. Prince Jaehaerys were given place in the small council. Alicent wanted him to know the council affairs as he is future king of westeros. Princess Jaehaera is sad on losing her child.

Lady Tully got depressed due to her husband's behavior towards her. Alicent prohibited her from meeting her elder children. she died from suicide after jumping from the red keep. Lord Tully angered by his daughters suicide. He thought her monstrous husband caused her death.

Prince Aemond became good father to his daughter Alice. For all his faults, he promised to be better father than his. He takes her out on dragon rides. He sings her lullaby and puts her to sleep. Alice loves her father. He says to her someday she will ride tessarion Or dreamfyre. He even requested his brother to bethroth his daughter to his younger son Baelon.

Queen refused to talk about prince marriage until he is of age.King Aegon agreed to it as Baelon is only 7.She wants her son to marry her daughter Maegelle in case if he became heir. She wants her son and daughter to be king and queen. Queen doesn't want his daughter to marry some feudal Lord. This angered prince Aemond.

Gaemon befriended black Smith bastard Hugh hammer who is 28 years old. He is helping him with fighting and horse riding. Gaemon wanted to get knighted so that he could start a small house and marry Saera. Gaemon and Saera started having sex. But she didn't want to give birth to bastards as they have suffered enough from being bastards. Tessarion is chained in the dragonpit. When sheepstealer refused to eat, dragonkeepers removed the chain. So it flies above the king's landing.

If Gaemon plan to get knighted does not work, he plans on escaping the kings landing along Saera with the dragons to Essos. He doesn't reveal it to anyone yet. He wanted to let hugh hammer know. But he is too scared to admit yet.

Prince Jaehaerys is forbidden from having sex with Jaehaera for 3 months as she is too weak from miscarriage. He asked the knights to ask Saera to come meet him. Saera refused him stating she is going to get some herbs from the town for Jaehaera as maesters instructed.

She has been avoiding him with reasons everytime he calls for her. He got furious at her for disobeying his orders. He waited till night. He saw her going from the princess jaehaera chamber to the servants chamber. He catched her and started misbehaving with her. Lord Larys and Gaemon came there hearing the noise.Gaemon asked him to let her go. The prince who noticed them all commanded them to leave. Saera slapped the prince in the face and before he could react, she hit between the legs.

Finally she did it. She got tired of him treating like a whore. She left the place. Gaemon followed her. Lord Larys helped the prince to get up. He is blinded by rage for the insult. Lord Larys asked the prince do you want me to kill her.

He says No, break her strength into pieces. So next time when he commands, she obeys. Lord Larys says it will be taken care.

Saera was kidnapped by few men in the night. Gaemon searches for her the next day everywhere. He asks the help of hugh hammer to help her find him. He sees the Larys strong leaving the brothel in the morning. He and hugh enter the brothel where they see saera tied and is in devastated state. He tries to release her. Men with the sword sees this. They ask him to leave. Hugh takes him away from them. He sees and asks What have you done to her. Brothel owner says, she will work her for a day. Instructions from the palace.

Gamoen got angry and started hitting him. Brothel owner instructs his men to throw them out. Gaemon got beaten by the men badly. Hugh saves him from getting killed. He got badly injured from the beatings. But he refused to leave till he get Seara. Lord Larys came late that day. He tells her prince let her live. So she should do what pleases him. Next time, she won't live if she repeats the mistake. She is released. She couldn't walk. She fell down.

Hugh and Gaemon takes her to lady in fleebottom who treats Saera. Lady says it is like she got attacked by monsters. She woke up after few hours. But she didn't speak. Gaemon vows revenge. Hugh says he will stand by him. He will gather his trusted people.

Saera stayed hidden in the flea bottom for a few days. She doesn't speak or eat. When prince jaehaerys called her, she went to his chamber.She doesn't fight or feel anything.She felt like she is dead already.

Gaemon told Hugh how they both have dragons. Just then, they could see prince jaehaerys and jaehaera flying to dragonstone.
