Chpt. 9 Giyu's intention

"Please! I want to cure my sister"

"You put my kingdom in danger for this? I will not allow it and for that I can execute you too" Sanemi spat out

The guards held back Tanjiro while a sharp blade was aiming at Nezuko's neck

"You may now kill he-" "Hold it!"

Sanemi immediately turns around and his eyes widen as he sees Giyu walking towards the scene

"Giyu what are you doing!? These kids are-"

Sanemi got interrupted as his eyes met Giyu's glare. He never seen Giyu look intimidating before.

"Let them go, their with me" Giyu gives the same glare to the guards and they nodded before letting go of Tanjiro and Nezuko

Sanemi stands there with mixed feelings as he gazes back at Giyu

"Giyu.. what are you talking about!? These commoners are endangering our people!" Sanemi says with slight anger in his voice

Giyu gives the same glare before responding "They have proven their worth to me and I won't let you or anyone hurt them" Giyu replies

Sanemi couldn't go against his husband and calms down with slight annoyance "fine but their your problem now" Sanemi leaves the scene leaving everyone's eyes on him before they eye on Giyu

"You may leave" Giyu changes his tone when talking to Tanjiro and Nezuko he made a calm expression before leaving as well

Sanemi walks off angrily after the argument with Giyu. Giyu calls out to him as he catches up, he then grabs Sanemi's shoulder "what do you want Giyu I thought you were going to deal with those commoners"

Giyu's eyes slightly widen at Sanemi's words before responding "Love, don't be so mad at me for that!"

"What?! It's not about what you want Giyu, it's about what's right!" Sanemi snapped, his tone harsh and annoyed. "You know how important these negotiations are!

Giyu's eyes widen more in disbelief as his grip on Sanemi's shoulder let's go as he stands there in shock

"Fine" Sanemi huffed, trying to regain some composure. "But remember, Giyu, power isn't always about force. Sometimes, it's about understanding and patience. The commoners aren't just there to be stepped on."

Giyu gives Sanemi an angry glare before he exits the hall and in their room

Love, don't be like that! I'm only trying to help you see things from a different perspective." Sanemi called

"well you don't know my perspective" Giyu says with slight anger in his voice as he slams the door behind him

Sanemi sighs and leans against the wall, running a hand through his hair before exhaling deeply. "Maybe I should just mind my own business...But then again, Giyu needs someone to look out for him sometimes." He pushes off from the wall and heads towards the door.

"what do you want" Giyu hissed as he looks away from Sanemi's face. Giyu seemed stubborn but his intention felt right to him

Sanemi raised an eyebrow, taken a back a little by Giyu's tone. "I said that maybe I should mind my own business, but I really just want to help you figure out what's going on. You seem like you're struggling with something."

Giyu pauses for a second before his anger returns "it's none of your business" Giyu spats out as he turns his whole body his back faces Sanemi

Sanemi sighed, clearly frustrated. He placed a hand on Giyu's shoulder gently, trying to get Giyu to face him. "Look, I know you're going through something tough right now, and I just want to be there for you. You're not alone in this."
