Chapter 13: Journey to Sunagakure

A month passed and Naruto recovered from his faint experience and was happy that he'd be a father for the fourth time, feeling so happy that he promised to have his team win the upcoming Chunin Exams, his students couldn't help but notice "What's with sensei?." Tabito said as he looked at his teammates.

"Oh, you haven't heard?." Kai said and Tabito shook his head "No I haven't, so what's going on Kai?." he asked wanting some answers to their sensei's mood, even Akria wanted to know what was going on "Naruto and Sakura sensei, are going to be parents again." she said with a happy smile on her face making the other two surprised "Oh wow, really we should congratulate him." Akria said and the other two agreed, the team went up to Naruto who seemed lost in thought and daydreaming then Kai tugged at the leg of Naruto's pants to get his attention.

Naruto snapped out of it and looked down at his students "Oh...What's the matter?." he said waiting for a response from his team, "Nothing sensei we just wanted to say..." Kai said then she, Tabito, and Akira spoke up together "Congratulations, we hope you and Sakura sensei will have a healthy baby." they said in unison ending it with smiles on their faces making Naruto smile back "Thank you all." he said then he clear his throat.

"Alright, that's it for today guys, for tomorrow will be our three-day journey to Suna." Naruto said as his team was excited to take part in the Chunin Exams, "Remember you're the only team that's going, it's always been one team from each village attends the exams." he finished talking and his students understood that the height for victory for their village rest in their hands.

"Head home, we'll meet at the gates tomorrow morning at six am." Naruto said his student's jaws dropped mostly Kai's "What? no beauty sleep sensei?." Kai complained as she pouted and crossed her arms, "Suna is three days away, we go in the morning then we 'might' get there in the evening." Naruto said as he reassured her that the journey would be easy this way, Kai stopped complaining and gave in "Alright...not much of a choice." she said as she headed her home, Tabito and Akira followed heading for their own homes.

Naruto sighed then he headed home himself, once he returned home he was tackled by his kids as they all laughed at their situation "Okay okay, I missed you guys too." Naruto said then Sakurah, Naruko, and Kazu got off him and helped their father up, Naruto was kissed by his lovely wife Sakura "Welcome home Naruto." she said and Naruto smiled "Good to be home until tomorrow." he said and chuckled.

Naruto and his family sat around together sharing stories, laughter, and being around each other, they spent hours with each other evening during dinner time but Sakura and Naruto couldn't help but notice something was bothering their son Kazu, when Sakurah and Naruko went to bed Sakura and Naruto has a talk with Kazu.

"What's bothering you, sweetie?." Sakura said feeling concern for her son, "Well...I wanted to go to Suna...I wanted to see what it's like from father's stories." he said sounding disappointed and sad that his team wasn't going, "We know how badly you wanted to see Suna, but it was up to Lady Tsukikage." Naruto said but seeing the disappointment on his son's face he had a long thought about it "Okay, go to bed and we'll talk about this tomorrow." Naruto said then Kazu nodded and headed to bed, Sakura cleared her throat "Aren't you forgetting something, young man." she said which Kazu jolted with sweat pullets down his face and came back to kiss his mother and father on the cheeks "Goodnight." he said then he went to bed.

"Now I know he acts like you." Naruto chuckles then Sakura pouts "Oh don't start that Naruto, he's more you, and he isn't our real son." she said and Naruto smiled softly "He may not be ours but we treated him like our own blood and that's the main thing." he said then Sakura softly smile "Yeah I know...Do you think you could ask Tsukino to let Kazu go with you?." she said then Naruto thinks about it.
