The thing is shouting obscenities from the back of the police car to the poor cops. I shy away from It as best I can. Thank goodness. I can't hurt anyone anymore.
It grows silent as It hears my thoughts. I feel anger course through it.
I was unable to finish the game, little girl. You must pay.
It grabs hold of my mind and tears through me. Bling pain, worse than a migraine, wracks through my head. I falter. I am thrust back into my body, which jerks from the force of the switch. I feel blood start to drip from my ears and blood pools in the bottom of my eye. I can no longer think straight. I can't wrangle the thoughts in my mind to make sense. But at least I can't feel Thing's presence in me anymore. I sigh in relief.
