The night of the Grammys.Stepping onto the iconic red carpet at the Grammys felt like entering a dream world. Billie held my hand, guiding me through the sea of flashing lights and screaming fans.
The energy was electric, and I couldn't shake off the nervous flutter in my stomach.
As we paused for photos, I suddenly felt awkward, unsure of how to pose among all these celebrities effortlessly striking poses around us.
Billie sensed my hesitation and with a reassuring smile, she whispered, "Just be sexy, Leah. You're good at that."
Her words stuck with me, and as the cameras clicked away,
Billie subtly adjusted my posture and whispered more flirty comments. In those moments, I felt a mix of awe and gratitude.
The red carpet, once an intimidating place, became a shared stage for both of us.The photographers' called and the fans continued their shouts as we moved forward,
Billie continued to guide me.At the entrance, we exchanged a glance, and I could see pride in Billie's eyes.
The Grammys awaited us, and together we walked hand in hand, navigating the dazzling world of music and fame.
Little did I know that this night would be huge, for all the wrong and right reasons...
As we entered, I was in awe of all the different artists I could see around me.
It felt like I fell into the pit of LA.
I met eyes with a blonde girl wearing a tight black dress.
and I mean tight. I hope she can breathe in that.
she approached us.
she went in to hug Billie, they were hugging for rather too long.then she gave me a look I knew well and asked, "Who's your date, honey?"
me and Billie met eyes.I giggled in response as I held her hand.
"isn't it obvious?" I asked
she put on a forced smiled.
I couldn't tell if she had history with Billie or if she was just jealous
she stepped closer to me
then whispered, "It's not like you guys are dating, so what does that make you?"
"I heard that," Billie let out.
"If you're just here to say some bullshit, then feel free to walk away," she continued. If felt good to hear Billie standing up for our "relationship"
"Billie," the girl spoke.
Billie stood there in silence.
"I didn't mean any harm, I just didn't know this was a real thing," she said.
Billie rolled her eyes.
"Well, obviously it is."
Billie was getting pretty pissed by now.
The girl sighed.I tugged on her arm, to tell her we should just walk away and find our seats.
she looked at me for assurance, I tilted my head and took a step forward.
we both started walking away,
when we heard the girl say something behind us
"I wasn't trying to be a dick, really...just curious. You know...about how the two of you came into being."
We didn't stop walking, but I did turn around and face the girl again.
"What's your name?" I finally asked.
"Iris," she answered
