At the Grammys after party
I felt pretty tense

I went over to get some drinkers for me and Billie

but as I went over to the bar, I ran into the most unexpected face

it was Bella.

"what are you doing here?" I asked.

"excuse me?" she responded confused.
I stared at her, dumbfounded.
"I mean...you're not supposed to be here"
she shrugged.
"l was invited." she stated.

after she said that someone approached behind her

Iris.

"hey Bells," she greeted
"hey babe, how's it going?," Bella replied.
"fine"
Iris replied
"what about you?,"
"great, I just came here to grab a drink,"
Bella said.

"oh, you're here," Iris said to me.

"yeah," I answered trying to avoid eye contact with her
I saw Billie come and stand next to me.
"Hi gorgeous," Billie said.
She put her arm around me.
"hey" Bella said, "congrats on the Grammys."

"thanks," Billie replied smiling.
I looked between them.

"hi," Billie smiled at Iris.
"hi...Billie?" Iris questioned while staring at Billie, "we already saw each other,"

"unfortunately," Billie let out.

Billie grabbed my hand and pushed her way passed Iris and Bella, then we sat at the bar

together.
"what would you like?," Billie asked
"I don't know, what do you want?," I asked back
"whatever you want," Billie grinned
I shook my head at her.
"you're such a dork" I said laughing
"you love me though," she said
"yeah, yeah I do," I said looking at her lovingly
"well, I'll have whatever you're having," Billie said looking at the bartender,
he brought us our drinks.

"thanks," I said taking a sip

"I love that top on you," she said.

"really?," I asked as I played with one of the strings on my sleeve.
"yeah, really," Billie confirmed as she leaned in and kissed my cheek
I blushed.
"you're so cute," Billie giggled.

"you're so cute!" Iris mocked Billie from behind us.

"Iris, it's a party, go dance or something," Billie dragged out

Iris rolled her eyes,
"c'mon babe!" she said to Bella.

they both walked off onto the dance floor.

"wait... was that Bella?!" Billie asked.

"yeah?"
"how'd she get invited to the Grammys after party?" she wondered.
"Iris, I guess they're a thing," I told her.

"and people thought our relationship was fake," Billie laughed.

I laughed also.

"it's obviously out of spite for us," she said.

"you think so?," I asked.
"yeah, if it wasn't they wouldn't be dancing together," Billie replied.

"should we dance?" I asked her.

"sure," Billie winked.
We got up and slowly started moving to the music.
Billie placed her hands on my waist and rested her chin on my shoulder.
I wrapped my arms around her neck, feeling her hair against my face.
"that feels good," Billie purred
"your hair smells nice," I complimented.
"why thank you," Billie giggled.
she pulled away so she could see my face.
"hey baby," she called.
"yes?,"
"do you trust me?" she asked.
"somewhat," I let out.

"good," she smirked, "because I want to do something."
Before I could respond Billie grabbed my leg and dipped me, then she pressed her lips against mine.
she held me tight as she deepened the kiss.
It felt like hours had gone by before we broke apart.

I felt the eyes on us and could see cameras flashing from the corner of my eye.

she brought me back up and I was met with her beautiful smile.

then I felt someone bump into me

I turned around to see Bella.

"sorry," she muttered.

"that was obviously on purpose," I said

, glaring at her.
"sorryyyyy," she apologized.
"Are you drunk?," I asked
.
she laughed.
"no, no, no, I'm sober," Bella insisted
"well your actions say otherwise," I replied raising an eyebrow

"okay okay maybe a little bit, just a tiny bit," she dragged out.

"so what do you want?," I questioned
"to dance?"
"with who?,"
"uh, you?"
I glanced at Billie and she was giving me a look
"well I suppose I can't say no," I told her.

"yes you can," Billie mumbled.

I glared at her.
Bella smiled.
I rolled my eyes.
"don't worry, I won't bite," Bella reassured me.
Bella laughed again.
Bella linked arms with me and led me out to the dancefloor.

she was dancing so unstably.
she needed to be taken home.

I wondered where Iris was.

"hey Billie," I called out for her.

But I couldn't see her anymore.

I held onto Bella to make sure she didn't stray off.

I walked around trying to find Billie.
opening random doors to see if she was in one.

I opened the door to a more private bathroom

that's when I heard a snippet of a conversation

between Billie and Iris.

"I've been thinking a lot lately.
about us, about what we used to do." Iris said.
I listened closely.
"Let it go Iris, things ended between us a long time ago," Billie said.

"yeah but be honest with yourself, she's not worth it," Iris whispered.

"she is, she always will be," Billie replied.
I could hear their footsteps getting louder and louder until the sound of the bathroom door being completely opened made me jump.

The moment Billie saw me she stopped dead in her tracks.
"hey," she said.

I ignored and walked passed Billie, I brought Bella over to Iris.

"take care of your girlfriend," I spat.

I stormed out of the restroom slamming the door behind me.
I headed straight towards the exit of the club.
"Leah?" Billie called out

she caught up to me.

I went inside the car that was parked outside waiting for us.

"hey are you okay?" Billie asked as she got in.

"what were you and Iris talking about? Do you guys have history together?" I asked.

"yes, well...not exactly. She wanted to be with me, but I rejected her," Billie explained.
"I guess she still has feelings for you?" I replied
"yes, but nothing ever happens between us, so it's kind of pointless," Billie stated.
"you never know," I smiled.
After some moments of silence Billie spoke up.
"you really want to know what happened?" Billie asked.
"of course I do," I answered.
"well Iris and I dated for awhile after the release of my first album, which didn't do so well. I mean we were only dating for like four months before things went wrong. She couldn't stand that my album wasn't doing well, We didn't work, we couldn't be together, and it was painful. So she left me," Billie paused.
"and that was a year ago now," Billie continued.
"that's horrible, Billie, I'm sorry," I said.
"it's alright," Billie smiled
"why does she still bother you, if she was the one that ended things?" I asked.

"well then we got back together months before tour started, but I realized how bad the relationship was for me, so I ended things," she explained.

we sat in silence for a bit.

"I'm glad I met you," she spoke.

"me too," I smiled
