Feeling Happy? Happy Ending?

Bridget:"Poppy!"

Poppy:"Bridget?"

BERGENS: (CHANTING)Trolls! Trolls! Trolls!

Poppy:"What are you doing?"

Bridget:"I can't let them eat you."

Poppy:"But..."

Bridget:"Come on! You gotta go! Hurry! Go, go, go! Get out of here!"

Poppy:"No! Bridget, if you go in there without us, you know what they'll do!"

Bridget:"I know."

Poppy:"But, Bridget..."

Bridget:"It's okay, It's okay, Poppy. You showed me what it feels, like to be happy. I never would have known if it wasn't for you. And I love you for that."

Poppy:"I love you too, Bridget."

CHEF: "Bridget!"

(GASPS)(BERGEN CLAMORING)

Bridget:"Go on, now. You have to hurry!"

Poppy:"Come with us!"

Bridget:"And make it easier for them to find you? No way! You have to go. Now!"

Poppy:"Bridget!"

Bridget:"Bye, Poppy.."

At those words coming out of Bridget, Poppy felt heart broken that Bridget sacrificed herself for the trolls. At that the trolls ran back to the dead troll tree to find the tunnels to go back to their village but something wasn't right for Poppy, she needed to get back and help Bridget and surprisingly her friend group and Branch actually all went back together right as the guards were about to take her away..


CHEF":They're gone!"

ALL:"Gone?"

King Gristle:"They're gone?"

CHEF:"Idget..."

(GASPS)

CHEF:"What did you do? You ate them! You greedy, greedy pig!"

Bridget:"No! I..."

BERGEN 1:"She ruined Trollstice!"

CHEF:"Guards, lock her up!"

(ALL CLAMORING)

BERGEN 2:"Let's get her!"

Just as they were about to get Bridget, the trolls made their way into the castle, making a scene, flying in the air, landing on top of Bridget's head making the beautiful hair that Lady Glittersparkles had when she met King Gristle.

King Gristle:"Lady Glittersparkles? What? But how? Why? Why did you do this?

Poppy:"Because she didn't think you would want someone like her."

Bridget:"I mean, hello? Is it me you're looking for? I don't think so."

CHEF:"Guards, finish her!"

King Gristle:"Oh! No."

(TROLLS GASPING)

Poppy:"Wait! King Gristle, when you were with Bridget, you were feeling something, weren't you?"

King Gristle:"Yeah, I was. I just thought it was too much pizza."

Bridget:"Me, too."

Poppy:"That feeling? That was happiness!"

ALL: What?

BERGEN 3:"But you have to eat, a Troll to be happy. Everyone knows that! Don't you?"

Poppy:"But King Gristle's never eaten a Troll in his life, right?"

King Gristle:"No, I haven't. Yet, here I am. My belly empty...and my heart full."

(ALL MURMURING)

CHEF:"Don't listen to her! There's only one way to be happy. My way!"

(YELPING)

Poppy:"No!"

CHEF:"With me in charge...I'll serve you Troll, every day of the year. With me as queen... all of life will be a never-ending feast of happiness!"

As the chef forced Gristle's head down to make him eat Branch, Poppy just saved him right on time... to show everyone what happiness really is!

The trolls managed to show the bergens what true happiness is and they'll never have to eat another troll in their entire life again, not only that they restored the dead troll tree to its original alive self again! So it seems its a happy ending for now..
