The house was beautifully decorated with fancy furniture and beautiful sculptures of wood. It was filled with dark tones but had beautiful golden accents around the corners and hinges of the furniture.
However, it was yet to be decorated in the way they Sully's imagined. It was already a grand place to live in and although it was homey it didn't quite fit their overactive traits—they were always out and about. A clean home with such fine decorations wasn't the best for them.
" Bring your bags upstairs." Neytiri stated, dragging her luggage inside before retreating to grab Tuktiery's small luggage that she didn't want to carry herself.
The house itself was two stories, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was quite a steal. They had gotten it for a very good price and besides never seeing the house it already fit for their large family of 6.
" Where should we put our things?" Neteyam asked, holding a heavy box filled with his sacred belongings from his relatives that he received for the move. " In your rooms of course." Neytiri said, leaving her luggage and removing her shoes as always. She walked up the wooden steps to examine the rooms so she could determine what would go where, as the rooms got smaller—so did the family members. " Kids! Come up! Leave your things there for a minute!" Neytiri yelled from the top steps.
The kids ran up quickly as though it were some challenge, in a way it was. They would be deciding their rooms, or so they thought. " Alright, Neteyam, you have your own room." Neytiri pointed to the third room. It was a medium size and it had darker windows—perfect. " Okay! Thanks Ma." Neteyam smiled gratefully and receded back down the stairs to grab his things.
" Boys, you two will get the other room. You guys will room together." Neytiri said and pointed to the second largest room with a two windows, it was quite spacious but connected to the parent's room. " Awe, together?" Spider asked. " Yes, you boys will be fine. You aren't sharing a bed." Neytiri huffed. " And now, Kiri you will get the other room and Tuktiery there." Neytiri finalized.
Kiri smiled brightly as she learned that her room had the most sunlight—geologically ready for rooming plants. The children went back downstairs and Neytiri was pretty happy with how she sorted out the rooms, she was quite glad that she had put the boys close to her room. They tended to stay up late talking about Allah knows what. It was a good thing she could quickly silence them if needed.
Lo'ak ran up the steps and choose the top bed of the bunk, it was roomy and the bed didn't seem like it would fall over. " I wanted the top bunk!" Spider grumbled as he threw his bag on the bottom bunk. " Youngest gets to choose first." Lo'ak chuckled. Spider rolled his eyes playfully and began unpacking his bags. " Are you excited for school at least?" Spider asked to start a conversation. " No. Why would I be?" Lo'ak replied. " I don't know, a new life?" Spider stated.
Spider had been adopted only a month ago since Norm was chosen to remain in the States, it was too dangerous for the young boy since he was basically a target as much as the Sully's were. " I guess..." Lo'ak sighed, getting off the top bunk and sitting on the ground to start unpacking. " I'm sure there is a basketball team that would love you—or...a band team." Spider smiled. " Yea no, sorry bro but never going to happen."
" Bro. You have to stop caring man." Spider huffed. " I don't care—Like I do but I don't." Lo'ak explained. "Hm. So, big ego little man?" Neteyam stated and the two boys looked up. " How did you get here!" Lo'ak huffed. " I live here?" Neteyam chuckled.
Neteyam placed the rest of the boys boxes and brought another box that held some extra furniture he had bought for them both since he knew the two would be sharing a room.
" What is that?" Spider asked, tilting his head. " I have..some furniture I bought for you two." Neteyam smiled. " Really?" Lo'ak asked and stood up to look inside. " No way!" Lo'ak smiled and picked up an old camera. " How the hell do you still have that?!" Spider laughed and stood up.
It was an old camera the Sully boys had stolen from their fathers 'millennial' box, it contained files and videos of their mother and father when they were younger...a few inappropriate ones as-well.
" We can get in trouble for this." Spider winced and the two boys look at him. " What?" They said in unison. " Okay okay, let's go!" Lo'ak whined and he took the camera to go into their spacious closet. " Don't tell me we have to go in there." Neteyam whined and Spider grabbed his arm so they could follow. " Shush!" Spider giggled and sat beside Lo'ak while Neteyam sat on the other side. " Let's hope this works." Lo'ak said beneath his breath.
He turned the camera on and immediately the screen appeared above the camera (futuristic tech). He scrolled around the organized files that most likely their mother organized. " What should we watch?" Lo'ak asked but before anyone could respond the door slid open, causing the three to jump. " Okay, no offense but you guys are very loud." Kiri chuckled and the three sighed in relief that it was just her. " Okay, what are we watching?" Kiri asked, sitting beside Spider who in return laid his head on her shoulder.
" You mean, me, Spider, and Tey?" Lo'ak sassed. " Watch it." Kiri huffed and flicked his forehead. " Ow!" Lo'ak whined and looked to Neteyam. " Let her stay." Neteyam chuckled and rubbed Lo'ak's forehead. " She's abusive." Lo'ak mumbled and pouted quickly before proceeding.
" I swear if you show the making out ones!" Kiri huffed and was trying to take the camera. " I won't! I won't!" Lo'ak laughed. " Put the cute ones!" Kiri replied. The two quarreled while Neteyam watched and laughed at their similar personalities and Spider got knocked around between them. " I think you guys popped my shoulder!" Spider whined. " Don't worry! I'll get you another one on eBay!" Lo'ak huffed and Neteyam rolled his eyes. " Okay enough, how about..." Neteyam said and began scrolling through the files
" This?" Neteyam asked. " What's that?" Lo'ak asked, not fully remembering all of the files and what they contained. " It's dad's boyband." Neteyam smiled and pressed it. " Boyband?" The three younger siblings said in unison. " Yes, you didn't know?" Neteyam chuckled. " No." The three replied. " Well...he was in a band. He's quite the dancer as well." Neteyam said and pressed play.
The three watched in total awe, their eyes glowing as they watched their dad dance around the stage. They watched for the next few hours, alone and in the warmth and cozy presence of each other. It was a bonding moment between the four and it made the world seem closer...friendly. If they were together, would it always be so innocently loving?
