Neteyam woke up early in the morning for his first day of school, he didn't need to prepare as thoroughly since still hasn't been introduced to the system nor classes he would be taking this year.
Out of everything he had decided on doing during his new move he was determined to stand out. He wanted excellent grades but he always wanted a romantic way of looking at life, many people thought it was a fuller way to live

He turned the water on and washed his face after showering, allowing him to fully wake up. Many before had called him a 'nerd' and looked down upon him because he was shamefully a teachers-pet. Although he would rather be on the teachers good side and be favored he figured that he wanted to be a friendly and uplifting soul towards his new classmates.

" You got this", he told himself, rubbing sunscreen in his face to stop wrinkles from coming in.
Next, he tied his hair into a half-up-half-down style so he wouldn't have so much hair in his face. He commonly wore braids but he was always open to the idea of letting his hair loose, he just felt that he fit the braided style better. It looked more 'formal'.

" Tey?" Kiri asked, knocking on the door and Neteyam opened it. " Yes? I didn't know you woke up this early." Neteyam chuckled and moved to the side so Kiri could wash her face. " Yes, I don't want to be stuck with Lo'ak and Tuktiery in the bathroom." Kiri explained and Neteyam understood quickly. Those two were messy and always found a way to be grumpy, even if they were so jolly the night before.

" I can make some breakfast." Neteyam offered, "I picked up some fruits from the garden across the street and the bakery has the freshest bread ever." He continued. " What are you planning on making?" Kiri asked.
Kiri was a vegetarian and the Sully's altogether were Muslim, besides Jake, so their meals were commonly constricted and they had to always check what they bought.

" Just some peanut, bread, and strawberries." Neteyam smiled softly and began to put away his items that he liked to keep in his room. " Sounds good, I need to wake up Spider. I convinced him to let me do his hair." Kiri chuckled and quickly brushed her teeth.
She headed to the bedroom and quietly woke up Spider first while she gathered some of her haircare materials. Spider had beautiful blonde curls but he constantly wore them tightly packed together like Jake used to until Neytiri forced him back to his natural blonde hair.

" Come wash your head, we have an hour." Kiri stated and walked over to Lo'ak's top bunk, rubbing his back to try and wake up. "' Mm.." Lo'ak whined and rolled away. Kiri rolled her eyes and turned on his flashlight to shine it on him. " Kiri! No!" Lo'ak groaned. " Hush. You'll wake up Ma and Tuk." Kiri scolded and Lo'ak glared at her with his golden eyes. " Stop being a grump and get your lazy ass up." Kiri stated, pinching Lo'ak's side. Lo'ak hissed and rubbed his side before rising from his bed and nearly falling off the bed.

Once Kiri made sure he was out of bed or at-least awake, she walked back to the bathroom with a towel and brush. " Okay! Ready?" Kiri asked, grabbing coconut oil. " Put your head in the water fool." Kiri rolled her eyes.
The two stayed upstairs while Neteyam dressed and made it downstairs to make breakfast: peanut butter spreaded on bread and some kiwis and strawberries laid on top.

" I'm tired..." Lo'ak whined, sitting on the bathroom counter. " You have said that 10 times already." Spider chuckled. " It's true. I don't believe in going to school." Lo'ak rubbed his eyes. " Yea well mom is willing to break that stupid belief." Kiri sighed and splashed some water on Lo'ak who flinched and glared. " Grump." Kiri mumbled.
" Almost done?" Spider asked, feeling his neck cramp up.

" Yes, almost." Kiri smiled and allowed him to raise his head. " Is that really what his hair looks like?" Lo'ak asked, getting off the counter. " Yep. You haven't seen his baby pictures?" Kiri asked, tilting her head and finally finishing, quickly grabbing a towel. " Well, yea." Lo'ak shrugged. " Where'd you get your curls from?" Lo'ak asked randomly and Kiri shot him a look. " My mother." Spider smiled and put the small towel on his shoulders. " How do I look?" Spider chuckled. " Like Goldi locks!" Tuktiery gasped.

The three looked up and smiled at the young girl who had just woken up. " Really?" Spider asked, getting up and stretching. " Yes! The story with the big bad bears!" Tuktiery motioned out. " Hm, three?" Spider lifted his eyebrow and eyed the two Sully siblings beside him. " Well, I'm going to get dressed." Spider sighed and walked back to the room with Lo'ak following. " Are you going to cut your hair?" Lo'ak asked, putting on his uniform. " Cut it? Depends." Spider shrugged and looked for his belt.

" Depends?" Lo'ak asked, turning as he struggled to put his tie on. " Yea. My mother was very...spiritual, she believed in all those spirts and shit. I just wanna make her proud. Not like I can with my father right?" Spider chuckled awkwardly. Lo'ak stiffened and nodded quickly. " I'm going downstairs." Lo'ak said and rushed downstairs. " Bro!" Lo'ak whined and waved his tie around. " What?" Neteyam chuckled and took the tie from him. " You should know how to do this already." Neteyam scolded.

" Yea well, it's not the biggest deal if I don't know how—I have you!" Lo'ak stated. " Hm. I'm not going to be here forever ya know." Neteyam smiled softly. " Yea but, I'm sure I won't always need to have a tie on." Lo'ak shrugged and looked over at the various plates. " Eat up, if you feel sick just give me the rest—so mom won't get mad." Neteyam stated. " Oh and! Take your medicine, remind Kiri and Spider too." Neteyam said, passing the three orange containers to him. " Alright." Lo'ak said and walked over to the counter.

The rest of the Sully children made it down not long after Neytiri did. " Hurry, you have 30 minutes." Neytiri said and kissed each of them good morning. " Ah. Spider I see you did your hair." Neytiri smiled and pushed back some of his blonde curls. " Thanks Mrs. Sully." Spider smiled and stole some juice from Lo'ak. The children resumed their breakfasts with no interruptions besides Tuktiery's constant whines about the early morning and Jake waking up and begging Neytiri to let him have beer.

" Alright kiddos, time for school." Jake sighed and helped Tuktiery with her school bags. " Everybody got everything?" He asked. " Yep." The Sully children responded in unison as they got into their family van. " Remember, eat all your lunch and listen to the teacher. Don't use your phones." Jake said as he started the car, heading to their destination: school. How would school go for the new Sully children?
