Into the unknown
Part 1
Chapter 1 (previously chapters 1-3, I merged them)

I was meditating in my quarters, feeling the ebb and flow of the force itself, but wait... something wasn't right.
The force cried out and I felt the balance shift dangerously.
Something was trying to break through. Though what, I don't know.
I stood up and looked around, and out my window I saw a rift open in the sky over Coruscant. It pulsed and glitched, and then erupted into a much larger tear, turning the sky a stormy reddish purple.
The once organized traffic lanes became chaos, as the wind picked up and everything not attached to the ground was pulled into the sky.
Smaller rifts opened randomly throughout the sky, only causing more chaos. I tried to calm the deep seated fear in side of me but to no avail.
A rift opened just outside the window of my apartment and the glass shattered from the sudden pressure change.
I was pulled in along with it as well as basically everything in my room.
It seemed almost like hyperspace, well, a very tumultuous one at that, with constantly glitching purple and red "sides" and random chunks of buildings, furniture, along with other beings mixed in.
Then an eye-searing flash of light, and I fell from about 5 meters onto the roof of a building. After dusting myself off I stood up and looked around. The sky was the same shade of glitching purple and red.
There was a significant wind, I had to move to an antenna that was firmly attached to the roof and hold on to it so I wouldn't fly off.
I heard the sound of primitive sub-light engines. Looking up there was to my surprise, a flying ship, quite large, with horizontally mounted sails and large engines at the back. It flew directly over me, toward what seemed to be the source of this odd, reality bending storm.
There were several shipping containers blowing around as well and I hoped the ship didn't crash into any of them, however, I didn't need to worry much longer, because some sort of mech, white, blue and gold with two heavy shoulder cannons, and carrying a sword that had to be at least 13 meters long, flew through the air.
It maneuvered around the ship, using the sword to slice clean through the shipping containers and larger debris.
I saw a red figure on the front of the ship, dressed in all red, he kinda blended into the sky.
He got into some sort of fighting stance, and then, he shot a huge blast of fire from his hands, burning up a large beam headed towards him.
A figure in black jumped off the side of the ship and landed on one of the shipping containers, before jumping to the roof of a building where two people were trapped under another shipping container, dang there were a lot of those things. He disappeared under it and the THREW it off the people.
He then picked up both of them and threw them towards the ship. I was genuinely concerned for them but then a figure on the ship, dressed in white, shot ice from his hands and made a ramp for them so they could make it safely to the ship.
The one in black jumped onto the slide as well. When the slide met the ship, the black one hopped cleanly off, while the people he just rescued had too much momentum and almost fell off the other side of the deck, if it wasn't for a figure in gray who conjured water from seemingly nowhere and stopped their near fatal fall.
The ship turned around and came close to landing, but stopped when a very large and no doubt heavy anchor was dropped off the side. A new figure, one in green helped the people that they had rescued off the ship, before the anchor was lifted back up and the ship continued its course to the center of the event.
As soon as it reached where the center should be the weird merge-storm, it collapsed in on itself, before exploding in a bright flash of light. A shockwave followed mere seconds after, making me loose my grip on the antenna.

I must have blacked out at some point, because when I awoke, I was lying on my back in a dumpster that was turned on its side . My entire body ached as I slowly sat up and half crawled out of it.
I was in an alley, there were random things scattered around and I saw other people climbing out of/getting out from under various random things.
I rushed to help a person who was trying to get their friend out from under a heavy bookshelf. I helped lift it up and off the person, setting it to the side. They were both very grateful and quickly rushed off to find someone else.
It went on like that for quite some time, helping people like this. I didn't say much, and neither did they.
•••
It had been a few years, I had tried to find a way to contact ANYONE from the republic, but to no avail. It seemed that I had landed myself in a completely different galaxy.
I had a job now, too. Mostly doing odd jobs and fixing things for people. It wasn't the best, but it was working.
Several times, I had helped a pink haired girl, Sora, and her friend, Arin, with their racing mech. She was a tech prodigy, but still came to me for help every now and then.
When she came, her friend would always be rambling on about the "Ninja". I ignored him for the most part, but when he told me about their powers, I was all ears.
"So, Kai, he's the red ninja and elemental master of fire! He's one of the best fighters. Then there's Zane, he's a Nindroid, the Titanium Ninja, and the elemental master of ice..."
I listened closely as he described their powers, before chiming in, cutting him off mid sentence;
"And then there's Lloyd, the Legendary Green Ninja. They say he's the elemental master of energy, but I think there's more to it than that. It's almost as if his powers are life itself, bu-"
"Wait, hold on a second," I interjected, "life itself?"
"How? it seems so similar to the Force."
He looked a little shocked, not expecting to be interrupted so abruptly
"Um.. Yeah I guess, no one really knows though. All we can do is guess." Arin said.
"Not even Lloyd himself?" Asked Sora, who had been listening in on the conversation while she was tinkering on the mech that she had temporarily parked in my garage.
"I mean, maybe?" Arin seemed a little uncertain when he said this.
"Well, why don't you ask him yourself?" I suggested.
Arin sighs "We both know that's never gonna happen, the Ninja went missing in the merge, just like my parents..."
I sigh and put a hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I think I've worked out all the kinks," said Sora, some grease smudges on her face and hands, "and the Mech Master 5000 starts in about an hour, so we should be heading out. Oh, and thanks for letting us use the space."
"You're welcome, it's no big deal. Good luck with the race." I call out as they leave, wheeling their mech to the registration stand about a third of a kilometer away.
