CHAPTER 12

"I've seen Mika's doppelganger again." Carlos says and Seb sighs slightly annoyed. "Carlos." He mumbles and the Spaniard looks at him. "THERE IS NO FUCKING DOPPELGANGER!!" Seb yells and Carlos looks at him a little bit scared.

"Go to bed son. It's late." Mark says. Carlos shakes his head and Nando sighs "Please Carlos. It's getting very late." The young man grumbles something but leaves after a short time the room.

"I'm getting confused. Who is dating who? And who's gay?" Kevin asks. "Well, Jenson and I are obviously dating." Romain grins and the rest nods amused. "Me and Mark are dating too." Nando says and Seb mumbles dryly "Oh I know." Mark grins mischievously.

"The rest is, apart from Checo and Daniil who are dating, single or at least not gay, right?" Hulk asks. Kevin nods and also the rest agrees with the German. "Was ist passiert?" Whispers Seb quitely towards Rose. Nico just smiles sadly and shakes his head.

"Wait, Lewis, what about you?" Val asks the Brit. Just like everyone else, he thinks that Lewis is in a relationship with Nico Rosberg. "Mh? I'm single." The current world champion replies. "I'm tired guys, I'm heading to bed." Nico says and basically flees out of the room.

"Lewis." Seb hisses and looks at him angry. "What?" The Brit asks. "Really boy? Yes, your rivalry is big and yes you fought a lot these last few weeks but really? You denied being in a relationship? What the fuck man?!" Seb whisper shouts very angry. "I'm disappointed in you." Hulk says and Lewis mumbles "Time for me to go."

Seb sees the hurt feelings in Lewis's eyes but ignores it. Lewis leaves and the drivers start talking like nothing happened. They only stop when there is a knock on the door. "Come in." Kimi says loudly since it's his hotel room. Daniil opens the door and they see a blanket.

"Isä? I had a nightmare." Someone sniffles and a head appears. Max looks at them with tears streaming down his face. "Aww, come here my little ice cube." Kimi smiles softly and opens his arms for Max. The young driver runs immediately to his father and hugs him.

Max snuggles up to the Fin and sighs contentedly. Kimi holds the Red Bull Racing driver in his arms while Seb strokes through the blonde hair of the boy. The two men talk quietly while Max falls asleep almost immediately. The other drivers look at the three confused.

In the end they just accept it and start talking again. They play some games and laugh but try not to be too loud.

"I think it's time for me to go. Kevin fell asleep." Hulk whispers at one point. The drivers look at the Dane who sleeps leaning against Hulk. "He looks peaceful." Jenson mumbles. "Yes, yes he does." Val thoughtfully nods.

Hulk picks Kevin up and Romain opens the door for the German. When they step outside, Romain looks in Nicos eyes and smiles "You made it. Don't let go now, he wouldn't survive. You would push him over a cliff, right into death." Nico returns the look and mumbles "I'm not planning on letting him go. Never. Not if he doesn't want it. He's safe now."
