A few days was spent with them snuggling up against each other. It was not hard to adjust themselves into the 'new' roles since they had been cuddling and stuff even when they were best friends.

Harry had no problem settling himself and was more comfortable around Louis since then. He chose not to acknowledge the part of him being seen as a boyfriend for Louis in front of the boys. Because it had always been like this. It felt the same and easy when he was with Louis. So he just went with how it was going.

Louis was getting better as well. His broken rib and wrist had gotten better although they were still being treated carefully. The gash on his forehead and the small cuts all over his body were still there to remind them about the awful accident Louis had gone through.

Dr. Paulston came back to the room only to catch the sight of the couple engulfed in each other’s arms. He smiled and Perrie was on his tail holding her cupboard.

Louis looked up with his heavy-lidded eyes and patted the sleeping figure’s thigh next to him. “Good evening, Dr. Paulston, Nurse Perrie.”

Harry stirred before opening his eyes. He wiped his crusty eyes in an awkward position. “Good morning, guys. I’m sorry I fell asleep.”

Louis weakly giggled, the other two were simply shaking their heads with smiles lingering on the lips. “It’s not morning yet, Haz.”

“Haz?” Harry widened his eyes, the frown on his lips.

Louis giggled again and covered his mouth by his palm. “Your nickname from me.”

A cough came from neither of them, cutting their small conversation short.

“Okay, I’m truly sorry to interrupt your moment. But I have news.” The room filled with silence suddenly.

Harry’s heartbeat could be heard faintly, showing how scared he was of what the news could be. He felt Louis’ body tense up and immediately brought his hand to stroke the small of his back in a soothing way.

The doctor found it amusing then let out a chuckle, making the nervous couple in front of him have confused expressions on each face. “It's good news actually. I think you’re ready to go home tomorrow, but you’ll have to have someone to take care of you every then and there.”

The blue eyed boy’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. “Are you serious?”

“Yes, Louis.” Dr. Paulston smiled sincerely. “I’ll give you more instructions about how to treat your broken rib at home. You can pack up all of your things in the morning. Now, rest yourself. And you too, Mr. Styles. Good night guys.”

Dr. Paulston left the room and a small mumble of ‘good night’ was heard. Perrie stepped forward to check and add some medicine through the IV on Louis’ wrist. She smiled then wished them good night as well before following what the doctor did earlier.

“So, what do you think?” Harry decided to break the tension between them.

“I’m glad.” Louis smiled and revealed his white teeth to Harry even if his tired eyes were almost shut, he still managed to look more enticing closer. “I’m happy to go home soon. I'm sick of being here for too long.”

Harry’s gaze fell upon his features, focusing on his face the most. He felt his heart twist as the gap was getting too small. He didn’t know what to feel anymore. He hadn’t felt like this when he had girlfriends. It made him confused of what affects Louis had on his body.

After the whole hospital thing, will he and Louis become more intimate? Is he able to act like a good boyfriend to him? Will they go on dates like normal boyfriends supposed to do?
