Sapphire POV

It's been 2 glorious days. 2 days of waking up next to my love. But he has to leave to talk with his followers. Leaning down and kissing me he tells me he loves me and is gone in an instant. I suddenly feel so lonely. But I know I must go to work and make sure Cassie is going to school. She's moved into the pack house and only has 3 weeks left. I'm so proud of her. She's won her scolorship and starts college in the fall. Looking at our life I know my parents would have been proud. Smiling all the way to the shower I start my 12 hour days at the hospital with and unusual amount of pep in my step.s

Work was work as usual but knowing my lover would be waiting for me made the day bare able. Pulling up I see Cassie's car so I hope they've been getting along since I've been away. I'm surprised to see all 3 of them at the table together and my heart smiles. "Hey I didn't know everyone was going to be here. I guess it's dinner for four." Zaire says "love what do you know about your heritage?" I'm confused by this, but answer him. "Well I have some distant relatives on my mothers side that live about an hour or so away. They don't speak I really never found out why though. And my fathers was an adopted child from overseas so really I don't know anything." My sister looks just as confused and I do. I walk to sit in the empty chair and Zaire pulls me into his lap. "Love me and Tyree are pretty sure we know something's about your family line. Particularly your mothers. You come from a royal line of witches. During the blood exchange your blood confirmed it and your sisters blood did also for Tyree." I'm thinking he has to be joking. I would my mother would have told us. "No you can test again I'm no witch. Test again!" I jump out of his lap and shout at him. But he just remains calm. Walking towards me and wrapping his arms around me I start to relax. This man is trying to talk and in acting like a stubborn child. I let him lead me back to the table and onto his lap again. "There is a prophecy that 2 sister witches so powerful will untie all of the supernatural worlds together to defeat the demons. And cast all who will harm the human into another realm. They say the oldest sister will have an amulet made if sapphire. That the witch will begin the war and the child she brings into the world will end it." He says this to me and I can't help but stare at him in utter disbelief. "I'm not feeling well i need to lay down for a while." I say in a hush voice I need a break from this.

20 minutes later after my sister forces me to eat a sandwich and drink a glass of milk I'm ready to figure this out. "So what your saying is us all of our unions will be what saves this world from demons?" Both Zaire and Tyree nod. "Sapphire remember that necklace mom gave you when u turned 13?" I turn towards my sisters voice and nods. "She said for you to always keep and it safe and never let anyone but me touch it. It's made of all sapphires." After she finishes speaking I immediately remember and run to to room to get it. But when I pick it up this time it starts to get hot and the big stone in the middle lights up. And it's in that moment I know that I won't be a nurse anymore, my sisters not going to collage and we really are witches.

Sapphire POV

After everyone has seen the necklace we now need to find out more. "Why don't I try to find my grandmother?" And with nods from everywhere I know in the morning that's what I'm going to set out to do. Hugging Cassie and Tyree goodbye I lead my lover back upstairs. "You know love we still haven't talked about the baby situation." He says from the foot of the bed where he's rubbing my feet at. "I actually forgot about it. So a vampire and human can make a baby?" I ask. "No but a vampire and witch can." He says with a smile. I never really thought of the baby situation until now. But then I remember it's been almost a month since the first time we've slept together and this week my period is due. In suddenly horrified. In supposed to fight a war. How can I do that pregnant. See my face become distraught he says "Sapphire I will lay my life down before you are harmed. You will be fine and so will our baby. But if u want to know now if you are pregnant all I need to do is taste your blood." I immediately offer up my wrist. And after a quick poke and him healing the marks he looks at me strangely. "Love after more than 100 years you've managed to bring my heart back to life by carrying life that I helped created inside your perfect belly." I know I heard him but I don't react. He on the other hand is kissing my stomach like a mad man. Looking down at this strong, fierce man behaving this way I know it's going to be alright.
