SIDDHARTH'S POV
i was busy , with some files when she came and stand in front of me
well day 2 of periods,
"bolo," i asked
"i will not be going with you in your private jet, and that's final", she declared
i stopped pacing and turned to face her, a dark smile playing on my lips. "And why do you think I will agree to that?" he asked, his tone mocking.
Mehak lifted her chin, refusing to be intimidated. "Because I have my own plans . You can't control every aspect of my life."
i stepped closer, (eyes narrowing). "Your plans?" he scoffed. "Since when do you make plans without consulting me?"
"Since now," she shot back, her voice rising. "I have my own life, my own decisions to make. I won't be dictated by you."
i felt a surge of anger, but i kept my composure, knowing i needed to handle this delicately she is on her periods .
"You are my wife though for a name sake , Mehak. Whether you like it or not, your plans involve me."
her eyes flashed with defiance. "Not this time, MR. . I'm going there in the public aeroplane and I don't need your permission or your private jet to do that."
my jaw clenched , struggling to maintain his patience. "You think this is about control?" i said, his voice low and dangerous. "It's about your safety, Mehak. There are threats you don't even understand oh i mean you have no clue about them."
"I don't need your protection," she retorted. "I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."
"You're being stubborn and reckless," i snapped, stepping even closer until they were almost nose-to-nose.
"You will be on that jet, and that's final."
Mehak's breath hitched, but she didn't back down. "You can't force me."
"Watch me," i growled, my eyes locking onto hers with a fierce intensity. "You will be on that jet because I care about your safety forget about me, your father -in- law ordered me , even if you don't."
There was a moment of silence as we glared at each other, we both refusing to back down. Finally, Mehak looked away, her shoulders slumping in defeat.
"Fine," she muttered. "But this isn't over."
i felt a mix of relief and triumph. i had won this battle, but i knew the war was far from over. As Mehak turned to leave the room, i reached out and gently grabbed her arm.
"Mehak," i said trying to speak softly, my tone shifting to one of concern. "safety is must "
She looked back at me, her expression softening for a moment before she pulled away.
"I'll be on that jet," she said quietly. "But this doesn't mean you've won."
