CHAPTER 7 - marriage dates

AUTHOR'S POV

~next morning~

mehak wake up and did her morning routine about GYM she did her home workout as she did not have guts to ask her family if she can go to gym,after everything she got ready for the day by changing into a simple indian suit

night's thoughts were fresh in her mind and what siddharth said that thaughts were clouding her mind ,and she decided to go to her family and deny for the marriage, after gathering the courage she went to have breakfast where all were present except aaryan as he have to go somewhere urgently , so after breakfast she asked everyone to stop and her chachi asked her what happen baache , and than she said in a shaky voic that i do not want to marry, and with that her mother slapped her, and asked what you said.....and mehak said in her confident voice that i do not want to marry, and with this a tight slap landed on her face again and this time it was his father, he spoke and said you have to marry even though you want or not better if you understand this early, and her dadi ordered mehak's mother to lock her in her room, with which gauri dragged mehak towards her room and locked the door from outside,

once mehak was alone in room she started crying till sleep over take her

SUKHMANI DEVI MAHLOTRA called SUNITI DEVI BHATIA regarding marriage rituals and firstly they have to find a date for the marriage so today the elders of both the houses will meet at MAHLOTRA mansion with there preists, and than they will decide the date, with this they say jai sri krishna and cut the call, and suniti devi tell the house members about the news and all were happy in the mean time aaryan was also back and after receaving the news what suniti told he went to mehak's room he knocked the door and saw that the door was locked from outside so he opened the door and saw mehak sleeping on the bed while hugging the pillow and one more thing he noticed that the pillow was wet and mehak's nose was red with eyes puffy and cheeks red, and that was enough for him to know that someone beat mehak but whom and why, he went close to mehak and caressed mehak's cheek and said in a very sweet voice, princess wake up please, i have a good news for you ...... by listening that mehak opened her eyes and saw aaryan sitting beside her she smiled after she saw her brother and

she immediately hugged him and started crying , and she start asking wh..ere w.w.w.ere you ba..hi... wh...e.r.e we.r.e.. yo.u... ... bah..i . and aaryan tried to calm mehak down and once she was quiet he asked her who did this to which she replied leave it bahi, and aaryan asked once more to which she told him the whole story and by the end of the story aaryan was filled with anger and he was about to stand up when mehak held his hand and said stop bahi please ,please stay with me for some time, please

by watching mehak's pleadings and her innocent eyes he melted and hugged her and say i am right here princess ,bacche please look at your brother and he tried to distract her , you know why i came here he said and than told mehak that yesterday he talked to her to-be-inlaws about her studying and to his surprise they said yes and even your to be grandfather-in-law said that what mehak wants she will get . with this i was satisfied that though mistakenly our family chosed right family for you and about your husband we have seen his picture only but today we will meet him when we will go to MAHLOTRA mansion for the selection of the date for your wedding.

~AT MAHLOTRA MANSION~

both mahlotra's and bhatia's were gathered for the selection of dates and  bhatia's were surprised to see how big the house was in compared to there house , they were nothing in front of mahlotra's specially gauri and suniti devi were comparing everything in there minds,

priests of both the family came and they started there calculation and said badahi ho 36 गुण k 36 गुण milte hai ladka ladke ke , and than they again started doing some calculations and told that there are three dates on which marriage can be done 1 is after 15 days in this  month itself , other 2 are after 1 year as for angoothi ki rasam uska muharat shaddi ke muhurat se 20 min pehle ka hai agar janam patri ke hesaab se dekha jaye.

to which SUKHMANI DEVI MAHLOTRA said mujhe apne pote ki shaddi jaldi se jaldi karni hai, bohot armaan hai mere agar ladki walo ko koi apatti na ho.....to which SUNITI DEVI replied ji nahi bilkul nahi hume koi appati nahi hai aur vese be shaddi toh karni he chaye ab karo ya ek saal baad......

after that it was decided that marriage will be after 15 days they all sit on there respective places and out of sudden aaryan ask where is groom to which ARVINDER MAHLOTRA said that he will be here in 10 min and ask ABHINAV MAHLOTRA to bring his brother down stairs, to which abhinav noded and went to call siddharth

After 10 min siddharth arrived and greeted everyone and sit at the empty place ........ siddharth and arryan talked for some time and than bhatia's take there leave and went to there home

MEHAK'S POV

i was sitting in my room when bahi came with a happy face and my favourite sweates in his hands and he told me that the date for my marriage has been fixed which is after 15 days from today.... and that was it .....soon i will be married to shivji know's whom,

i do not know what is restored for me in future but for now I just want to study , because that is the only escape for me other then the fictonal romantic books i read.

i resumed my previous day's lecture and started studying till it was  time to sleep

SIDDHARTH'S POV

so today i did not went to office or to select our new mafia team member because her family was coming to our house to select the date for our marriage and this i get to know at the time we were having our breakfast and i got full with rage against that girl , last day i told her but she....

after having breakfast i went to my studyroom to do some work  and time flew very fast and bahi come to call me and told about the drama that was going downstairs and he warned me from dadu and papa's side to do not create any rucus

so here i entered the hall where everyone was seated and after watching the faces of the elders of her side i or infact anyone can conclude there greedy faces but there was only 2 faces which were genuine, which was one of some men who was looking like age of bahi and other was the lady who was near about the age of my chachi

well after talking little  i got to know that he the elder brother of mehak and yes i got to know that her name is mehak because the elders were talking on the other side and about her brother he only addressed her once and that as princess, and the lady who was looking genuine was her chachi

Well her name is beautiful mehak it is very easy to pronounce and it provides calmness

but why do i care , as i can see how greedy her mother and grandmother is she must be the exact replica of them as yesterday i told her to deny for the marriage and the very next day her family is here to fix the date, disgusting ......

AFTER bhatia's left i went to my room got ready and went to gymnastics hall after a month and i practiced gymnastics, wich helped me to decrease my anger level regarding the girl what was her name... yes mehak.... yes

it was night when i reached home and after having a shower i went to sleep.
