DOUBLE UPDATE

MEHAK'S POV

I stared at him, my eyes stinging with unshed tears. Frustration boiled inside me. "You want the truth? Fine. I'll tell you the truth. But will you listen? Will you trust me? Will you stand by my side for once? Will you believe me?" My voice wavered, but I had to say it.

He just stood there, silent, his eyes piercing into mine. The silence between us felt like it was squeezing the air out of the room.

"Why the hell are you quiet now?" I snapped, the frustration bursting out. "Tell me, will you be able to trust me?" I raised my hands, exposing the raw, blistered skin. "Look at this."

His eyes widened in shock, and I almost felt a twinge of satisfaction. "Burn blisters?" he asked, his voice barely audible.

"Yes," I spat bitterly. "And you, knowingly or unknowingly, held them while dragging me. Do you have any idea how I got these?"

He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white. "What are you trying to say, Mehak? Spit it out!"

I took a deep breath, trying to steady the whirlwind of emotions inside me. "These burns are because of your dear Daisy Bhabhi."

He looked at me like I'd just slapped him. "Daisy Bhabhi? No, she would never do that. You're lying."

My anger surged. "Lying? Do you think I would lie about something like this? Look at my hands! These burns are her doing."

He shook his head, denial written all over his face. "I know Daisy. She wouldn't harm a fly, let alone you."

"You're blind!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the room. "You refuse to see the truth because it's convenient for you. She's not the saint you think she is."

"Enough, Mehak!" he yelled back, his anger flaring. "You don't know what you're talking about. Daisy is family. She's been nothing but kind to everyone."

"Kind?" I scoffed, bitterness dripping from every word. "Is this what you call kindness?" I extended my arms, only showing my hands and hiding the rest of the burns. "Do you want to see more? Because there's plenty you haven't seen."

He took a step back, shaking his head. "Stop it. Just stop it. I don't believe you."

"Of course, you don't," I spat, feeling the sting of betrayal. "Because believing me would mean accepting that your precious Daisy is capable of cruelty. And you can't handle that, can you?"

His eyes burned with fury. "You're trying to turn me against my family. Why? What do you gain from this?"

I laughed bitterly, feeling the tears threatening to spill. "What do I gain? Are you serious? I gain nothing. I just want you to see the truth."
