SIDDHARTH'S POV

I woke up before Orchid, as usual. It's a habit now, part of my routine, almost like clockwork. After freshening up and finishing my morning rituals, I quietly left for the office. The fewer the interactions, the lesser the attraction towards this beautiful drug. It's the only way to keep my sanity intact.

Once in the office, I dove into my work, the endless reports and meetings a welcome distraction. Around mid-morning, my PA, knocked on my door.

"Good morning, sir. There's an urgent matter we need to discuss," he began, stepping into my office. I glanced up from the documents on my desk, signaling for him to continue.

"We have a meeting scheduled in Germany. The branch there is facing significant issues, and they require a visit to sort things out. It seems it will take a while to resolve these problems," Naveen explained, holding a folder with the details.

I leaned back in my chair, pondering the situation. Naveen continued, "Who will be going? You, Abhinav sir, Ajay sir, arvinder sir, or rajendra sir? The team needs strong leadership to handle the crisis."

The idea of escaping getting some space to know what i want was tempting. "I'll go," I said immediately. "It will be a nice escape, the one I've been wanting. And why not grab the chance? Moreover, my friend Keshav is there. It'll be good to catch up with him."

henodded, seemingly relieved by my decision. "Alright, sir. I'll make the necessary arrangements for your travel and inform the team in Germany about your arrival. Is there anything specific you need me to prepare?"

"Yes, get all the reports and relevant documents on my desk now. Make sure the jet is ready by evening ," I instructed.

"Very well, sir. I'll handle everything. Is there anything else?"

I shook my head, "No, that's all for now. Keep me updated if there are any further developments."

he left the room, and I sat back, a sense of relief washing over me. A trip to Germany would provide a much-needed breather, away from the chaos in my mind and i guess heart too . It was an opportunity to clear my head and focus on something productive. And with Keshav there, at least I'd have a familiar face amidst the turmoil.

After finalizing my decision to go to Germany, I knew I had to ensure everything was in place, both for my departure and Mehak's safety while I was away. The thought of leaving without addressing these concerns was not an option.

I called one of my most trusted guards, Rakesh, into my office. He entered promptly, standing at attention. "Rakesh, I have an important task for you. I need you to accompany Mehak wherever she goes while I'm away. Do not let her out of your sight. Understood?"

Rakesh nodded. "Yes, sir. I'll ensure her safety."

"Good. Make sure you're discreet but vigilant. She mustn't leave the mansion without someone accompanying her, and I want regular updates on her whereabouts," I added, making sure my instructions were crystal clear.
