“Oh darling all of the city lights never shine as bright as your eyes.”
Skyler stared at the ceiling. “Must be boring.” Jessica told her. “Yeah, it is. But then I remember that you and I were so badass to escape that together.”
Skyler turned her head to Jessica. “You saved me.” “No, you saved me.” “Pardon?”
“You know, the first day of school.” “I know of it.” She replied. “If it weren't for you, I would've committed...” She trailed off. Skyler immediately seemed to freak out. “What!?”
Jessica looked down. She played with her fingers. A tear rolled down Skyler's cheek. “I didn't have the best summer, But
you—” Jessica cut herself off.She cleared her throat before speaking again. “You, you showed me how fun it was to live. I only have you to thank.”
Skyler nodded. “I had to save you, to repay my debt.”The fireplace logs cracked as they burned. But they fire gave a warmth to the girls.
“There is no debt. That's what friends are for.” Jessica smiled.
She could hear Oliver's footsteps as he paced the kitchen while getting medicine.
“Thanks, Skyler.”

Ines sat next to Mylo. “Do you even remember anything?”
“I remember more than I did.” “What's the last thing you remember?” Ines asked him.
“Marcus flinging himself at me because I had the gun.” He look around. His legs started bouncing as he shook from the memory. “I thought I was able to trust him! But I had to call the cops. I couldn't let him get away with it, but he just had to get rid of me. He was probably the one who killed our parents. Jessica wouldn't do such thing.”
“He wasn't himself...” Ines whispered. “Huh?” “I'm almost fully sure he was a identity disorder.” “Ohhh...” “Sometimes he wants to be himself, kill everyone, or lock himself away.”
Mylo shrugged. “I don't know anything else yet.” Ines scooted closer to him. “It's ok, I'll help you know.” He leaned over onto her shoulder. “I'd love to go home, but I have no home.” Marcus sighed. “They're still investigating...” “You can come to my house. I don't think my dad will mind.”
Mylo nodded. “Yeah, sounds good.” Ines smiled.
“Sounds good.”
