*doorbell rings*
Airys scrunched her face, annoyed by the sudden sound.
*loud knocking on the door*
She groaned and immediately sat.
But as she moved, the young male beside her fell to the floor causing him to wake from his slumber,
"Ow! Wha- why?"
Her eyes widen in surprise, seeing Thomas on the floor,
"Sorry, I forgot you were there!"
*doorbell rings again*
The two of them glanced at the direction of the door
Thomas stood up and stomped his way to the door.
When he saw who it was, he let them in.
Amy, Aggie and Ted rushed in, dragging Thomas along with them.
"I told you to be careful!" Ted tossed the daily newspaper to Thomas.
The article has their picture where he was smiling at Airys during their skating session. Only her back was facing the camera.
He started reading the article.
"Ate, you're on facebook!" Amy showed her phone to her sister.
The fb post contains the same picture but different title.
It already has thousands of reactions and comments.
"You're trending in twitter too! They say 'So ayun, sinampal nanaman ako ng pagiging single ko'"
Aggie read it with her Filipino accent
"What does that mean?" the two boys asked in chorus
Airys face palmed in embarrassment,
"She said, she was reminded once more that she's single."
"Oohhh.. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?" Ted scratched the back of his neck
Aggie slapped his arm,
"Good thing! Of course!"
"Is this for real? Instead of hating or bashing my sister, people are actually happy and rooting for the two of you." Amy scrolled through the comments
Thomas and Airys went beside her to read the comments and to their surprise, she was telling the truth.
Are the odds finally in their favor?
Or was there a con to this good thing?
*doorbell rings*
The five of them looked at each other.
*doorbell rings again*
"I'll go check who it is" Thomas stood up and walked towards the door
Airys, Amy, Aggie and Ted kept quiet and waited who the visitor might be.
A minute later, Thomas opened his door,
"Ava? What are you doing here?"
Amy whispered to her big sister,
"The who?"
Airys took a deep breath,
"His sister"
"Oh" Amy nodded
Ava Sangster, Thomas' sister, walked towards them and scanned their faces.
Guessing which one is the one who captured his brother's heart.
"I'm guessing, you're the girl?" Ava stood in front of Airys
Airys smiled friendly,
"Yep, I'm the girl. Nice to meet you." she offered her hand
