Airys was right.
Thomas was trying to contact his Babe.
He texted her awhile ago.
And now, he was calling her for the 30th time.
"Fuck! Why isn't she answering?" he throws the phone on the bed
He sits on his bed.
He leans his elbows on his knees and he touches his head.
He closes his eyes, remembering what she said to him.
"We'll keep in touch, I promise"
"Promises" he says to himself
He stays quiet for a moment.
Thinking about what she said.
Suddenly, he lifts his head,
He hears something moving at the corner of the room.
His eyes went wide and he immediately runs for the door.
"AIRYS!"
"AIRYS!"
He frantically shouts while he walking down to the stairs
Airys was near the glass wall.
She walks to him with a worried expression.
"Why? What happened?"
"You have to go to my room" he pulls her by arm
"Wait, didn't you tell me I'm not allowed there?" she pulls her arm
They stopped midway.
Thomas looks at her.
"Yeah. But that was before. Now, you're allowed especially when I told you so. Let's go!" he pulls her arm again
She didn't argue anymore.
He was dragging her to the door.
"Remember, you have to kill it" Thomas lets go of her arm
Airys looks at him confused.
"Kill it? What 'it'?"
"The first thing you see inside my room"
he explains
"Thing? What thing? Bloody Hell!
Can you just tell m--?!" she starts to panic
"The cockroach! Kill the cockcroach!" Thomas answers her immediately
"Oh" Airys looks at him in surpise.
Thomas just looks away.
"I thought it was something big" she smiles at him as if she can't believe what she's seeing.
"It is and why are you looking at me like that?" he looks at her.
"Hmm Nothing. You know in the Philippines, we're fond of seeing cockroaches anywhere."
"That's why you have to kill it! Stop talking and just go inside" he opens the door.
"Okay okay jeez" she walks in.
Airys removes her right slipper as she looks around his room.
"Nice room"
Thomas looks at her.
"Uh thanks. Why are you holding a slipper?"
"To kill the cockroach duh. Where is it anyway?" she looks at him
Thomas walks to the corner where he found it.
