"Dude, where the hell are you? She's waiting for you! You better show up before her plane takes off!"
Ted's voice exploded from my phone.

"Dammit! I'm on my way!" I shouted over the phone before hanging up

I'm actually on my way to the airport.

When my phone rang, I thought it was Gramma calling again

Gramma called me up earlier to talk about the upcoming succession ceremony.

Then she decided to make Ava her heir instead.

Seeing that she deserves it more than I do and that I already have plenty on my hands.

Of course, I agreed to it because Ava is more capable of managing our family business.

Besides, I promised to Airys that I'll pursue my acting career no matter what.

"Stupid traffic" I honked at the car in front of me and it let me pass through

I promised her that I would accompany them to the airport.

I glanced around to look for her or her sister.

*phone rings*

I took my phone out and answered Ted's call,
"Ted? Are you still at the airport?"

"No, you arse! I left them as soon as I brought them there. Are you at the airport?"
I can barely hear his voice from all these people around me

"I am. What time is their flight again?" I raised my wrist watch

"Half past 10? I brought them there by 8 cuz her uncle insisted to leave early. I'm pretty sure they're boarded by now."

It's already 9:30.

I took a deep breath,
"Okay. I'll check one more time if she's still here. If not, then I better prepare my passport."

Yes, as what I've said.

I'll do anything just to be with Airys.

If it meant going back and forth, I'll do it.

Voice calls or video calls won't be enough.

I'll visit her once or twice a month.

I'll be with her in any chance that I can get.

I might as well learn their language too.

It'll be better to communicate with her.
