A MONTH HAD PASSED since they got Will Byers back. Mostly everything went back to normal- well, as normal as they can be knowing the dark secrets of Hawkins. Hopper adopted Eleven, Will was recuperating, and Daisy and Jude were closer than ever.

It was the night of the Snowball, and Daisy was nervous. Now, Daisy and Jude weren't official; not even close, but everyone knew one or the other would make a move at the Ball, everyone but themselves.
Daisy was getting ready in the downstairs bathroom, her mother helping. Charlotte helped Daisy pick out her dress, they chose a cream colored dress, it came down to her lower thighs, but still covered everything, the sleeves were short and ruffled, and it tied into a bow in the back.
Her mother twisted two pieces of her hair to the back, leaving two strands out in the front and clipped them with one of her star clips. Daisy applied mascara, and blush to her cheeks and some lip gloss to her pink lips. When she was done Daisy looked at her mother through the mirror and Charlotte looked back, she smiled at the girl.
"Guys, we're gonna be late?" Gabe shouted from the kitchen. Charlotte whispers right and leaving Daisy alone in the bathroom. Daisy looked at herself in the mirror, and smiles. 'you look pretty.' she thought and smiled once more before leaving the bathroom.
Daisy grabbed her shoes and sat in one of the chairs at the kitchen table, for Daisy's sake she was not forced to wear super long heels, only inch long heels. They were white and matched her dress perfectly.
"So, Gabe.. you gonna dance with Will tonight..?" Daisy whispered the last part, not wanting their mother to hear. She smiled as her brother flushed into a shade of pink.
"No-No, we could never." Gabe sighed, sitting down in the chair next to Daisy. Daisy put a hand on his shoulder.
"You should be able to live and love how you want." Daisy smiled at her younger twin. "Will too, that boy's been through a lot."
Gabe smiled at his sister, and grabbed her hand and squeezed it twice. "I know, Dais'"
Charlotte came down the stairs with her car keys, "Aw, aren't you two cute." She stopped and put a hand on her hip, her two children smiling. "Come on, let me get a picture please..?"
Daisy smiled and dragged her brother, "Fine, only because I want to."
Charlotte smiled and grabbed her Polaroid camera, and the two stood next to each other and smiled widely and Charlotte took the picture. In the next picture Daisy pulled Gabe into a hug and Charlotte melted, "Aw, you two are finally bonding!"
"Alright we should head out, now." Daisy smiled, and grabbed her sweater. She knew she was going to need it for walking in and out of the school, after all it was December, it was freezing outside.
