JUDE AND DAISY LEANED against the side of the car as the boys geared up. Their heads snapped up when Lucas walked out of the door.

"Well, well look who decided to join us."

"What are you guys doing?" Lucas asked, getting closer to the boys. He peeks over at the couple.

"Were gearing up." Patrick answers

"Preparing for the hunt."

Jason noticed Lucas' apprehensive face. "Hey, man. Relax. We're not killers like Eddie. We just wanna talk to him. Get him to admit his crime." He put a hand on Lucas' shoulder.

"Yeah, a little friendly neighborhood chat." That made Daisy feel more uneasy.

Jason turned back to Lucas. "Hey. You didn't know Chris. If you're not up to this, you can go home. There's no judgment. You'll still be one of us, all right?"

Lucas looked at the couple. "What about them?"

"We need Jude-y here, knows where the freak is. Daisy's here to be our brains." Jason motioned to the pair. "Right Dais'?"

She stayed quiet and gave a slight nod. She hated that Jason used her brother's nickname for her. After all, he thought her brother could be capable of killing someone.

"No." Lucas stared at Jason. "I'm good. I wanna help."

Jason smiled. "All right." He walked over to the trunk and shut it. "Let's capture us a freak."

"Jesus, I just wanna go home." Daisy whispered.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Distance rock music was heard, they were at Gareth's house.

"Come on, Dais'." Jude whispered as they left the car and started walking down the driveway. The three boys stopped playing when they came into eyeshot.

"You're a little early, fellas." Gareth started walking towards the group. "Show's not till next week."

"Oh, that was music you were playing?"

"We're looking for Eddie. He's in this band, if that's what you call this." Jason explained harshly.

"What do you care?" Gareth stared down Jason.

"That's our business."

Gareth turned towards Lucas and Daisy. "Lucas? Daisy? What are you doing with these douche bags?"

"You know these freaks Sinclair?" Jason eyed the pair, accusatory.

Lucas stammered a bit. "Uh, they know my sister. They tried to recruit me to their... Club, cult."

"Lucas? What the hell?" The boy in blue asked in disbelief.

"We're just trying to find Eddie, man."

"Well, you have eyes, don't you? He's not here." Gareth replied, snarkily. Daisy knew that tone wouldn't go well with Jason.

Jason nods before swiftly throwing a punch at Gareth. Daisy gasped and pales, Jude quickly pulls her arm and makes her face the other direction.

The other boys held back the two, who tried to get to Gareth and Jason.

"Where is he?" Jason grabbed Gareth by the front of his shirt.

"Shit, we should leave!" Daisy says to the boys.

"We can't. They'll know something's up." Lucas protests, and Daisy glances at Jason who threw Gareth into his drums.

"You think they'll notice?!" Daisy motioned her arm out towards the boys.

Jude was about to reply, "Dustin Henderson!" Gareth shouts. "Man, he was... He was calling around looking for Eddie. Maybe he found him!"

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it? Now... Where do we find this Dustin?"

Daisy's eyes widen, and she grips Jude and Lucas' sleeves.

Jason told the three to wait in the car while they peered through the windows of Dustin's house. But, of course Lucas didn't listen. He left the car when the boys weren't looking and raced to the back of the house. Daisy and Jude swiftly followed and Lucas climbed through Dustin's window.

"They're getting suspicious of us and you know it." Daisy looked at Jude through worried eyes.

"They won't try anything. They know who my brother and dad are." Jude lays a hand on Daisy's waist, under his jacket.

"Oh really? When has Steve ever really won a fight?" Daisy sarcastically replied.

"Right." Jude slightly chuckled. "Well, you act like I can't protect you?"

"Oh for sure." Daisy chuckled sarcastically.

She stopped laughing when footsteps were heard coming closer to them. They both turned away from the upcoming confrontation.

"Harrington!" Jason called out, but closed his mouth when he laid eyes on the couple. "What the hell are you doin'?"

"We were.." Daisy faltered. "just looking for clues?"

Patrick laughs, and Jason walks by the window. "What clues? Each other? Freshman's think they're Sherlock Holmes or something?" Patrick and the other boy high-five.

"Sinclair!" Lucas turns around slowly, looking caught.

Lucas climbs back through the window, and turns back to the boys. "What the hell were you doing?"

"Yo, let's go."

The jocks begin walking away, but the trio stays behind. "I found one."

Jason turns around. "What?"

"A clue. I know where Eddie's hiding."

Lucas takes the group to Hopper and El's old cabin, (which was still roughed up from the giant flesh monster that attacked them) the day turned into night, and Daisy wished nothing but to go home and sleep.

Jason kicked in the door and the boys flash their flashlights around. "Where you at freak?"

Jason then goes to Eleven's old room and kicks in the door. Daisy feels a wave of deja vu hit her. It was almost a year ago she sat in that room with her new best friends, convinced the shadow monster was gone for good.

Jason looked in the room, but no sign of Eddie or anyone really. Jason turned and flashed the light in Lucas' face. "You sure Eddie was here?"

"Yeah. I'm... I'm positive."

"Let's check around the back. Around the back!" Jason and the other two leave out the back door. Leaving the three of them, they all give each other a look and bolt to the door.
