THE NEWFOUND TRIO STROLLED the streets of Hawkins. Their destination was Max's house, since El was still worried because of what she saw in 'the void'.
The skies began to darken, and thunder was heard above their heads, making Daisy a bit uneasy. She had begun to wonder what Eleven truly saw. Well, she had told the two what she saw, but Daisy was unsure.
"It's gonna start pouring soon." Max said, breaking their silence. "We should be at the mall or, like, watching a movie or something."
"You don't believe me?" El assumed.
"I believe you saw some super weird stuff, totally, but you said Mike has sensed you in there before, right?"
El nodded in confirmation.
"So maybe it was just like that. Maybe Billy just... sensed you somehow."
"But the screams.." El replied.
"Yeah, I know, but here's the thing. When Billy is alone with a girl, they make, like, really crazy noises." Max implied, making Daisy cringe in disgust.
"They scream?"
"Yeah, but, like... happy screams." Max explained.
"Happy screams? What is happy screams?" El asked, seeming puzzled.
"Its like-"
"Oh God! Max!" Daisy interjected, trying to keep El shielded from that sort of information, which she didn't need.
"I'm just gonna lend you my mom's Cosmo." Max offered.
The trio walked up to Max's house. "His car's not here. You really want to do this?"
El nodded, and the trio walked into the house, and straight to Billy's bedroom.
"Why do I get the feeling we're gonna find all kinds of wrong in here?" Max spoke as they looked around.
"Because we are." Daisy spoke plainly.
"Ugh! Gag me with a spoon." Max exclaimed, shutting the drawer.
"Told ya," Daisy snickered. "His room seems.. normal enough?"
Max and Daisy followed El as she made her way into the bathroom. Daisy took note of the bathtub being full and empty ice bags in the water.
"Max.." El whispered.
Max picked up the drenched bag. "Ice. It's just ice. Probably for his muscles or something. He works out like a maniac." Max tried to justify.
"Yeah, I've seen." Daisy grimaced at the memory.
El opened one of the cabinets below the sink, pulling out the trashcan.
