The next day before Nakita made her way to the address that the mysterious man had given her to meet him at, she sought out her grandfather. She found him in his study, which was where he handled all of the things he was responsible for. Sunda was usually there too since grandfather was teaching him what all the person with the title of Duke had to do.

"Hello grandfather. Can I have a moment of your time?" Nakita asked him.

The duke looked up at his lovely granddaughter, happy to see her. "Of course.

What can I help you with darling?"

"I was wondering if there are any of your businesses that aren't doing well."

Duke Kari was curious as to why she was asking this. "Yes, there is."

"I was thinking... If I can make that business profitable, can I keep it?" Nakita asked. She wanted to have some sort of income that way if there was anything she needed she wouldn't have to ask for money.

The duke thought about it for a minute before deciding. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea. In fact, you can just have it. I know you are capable, so you will definitely make it work. Is there anything else you need?"
Nakita said, "Actually there is. I have decided that I need someone by my side that is loyal and capable. I was going to start looking for someone. Is there someone you know that would work?"

"What exactly are you looking for in this person?"

Nakita thought for a moment. "Well, it would need to be someone that could handle helping with the business. I would also like it if they knew some fighting, though it's ok if they don't cultivate."

"Hmmm.... Let me think." The duke thought about everyone that worked for him.

Just then, Sunda, who had heard what Nakita said, walked into the study. "Actually I know a maid who would fit that description. She is from a family who's business went belly up. After their family lost their business they lost everything. We knew them rather well so we took her in as a maid so that she wouldn't go hungry or be homeless. She is smart and knows how to fight a little."

Nakita couldn't believe that she had such an easy time finding someone. "She sounds like just what I need."

Sunda turned to the butler asking him to summon the girl he had spoken of. A few moments later she came into the study and greeted the three of them. "Nakita, this is Ava. Ava, my cousin, Nakita, is looking for someone to work for her that she can trust. If you agree to this then eventually you will probably know all her secrets. So she has to be sure that you will be loyal to her. If you can be loyal to her, then there is nothing that she won't do for you. Do you agree with this?"

"If I may ask, what kind of person are you? I would like to make sure we would actually be able to get along well since it sounds like we would become close." Ava was a practical person that wanted to be sure that a relationship with Nakita would actually be a good one before agreeing to doing this."

Before Nakita could answer, Sunda said, "She is someone who is extremely honest. If someone does her or someone she cares for or is under her care is wronged she would make sure to make that person pay. She has twin brothers and her father is General Warfield. She is also incredibly smart. I don't even know just how smart she is."

Ava thought for a moment. It sounded to her like Nakita is someone that is trustworthy as long as you weren't her enemy. She sounds like someone who is capable and can probably handle things on her own. "I will do it. All I ask is that if at some point you think that we don't get on well, you let me know and I will also do the same."

It may not seem like it but Nakita was already excited. She already liked Ava after

just a few words. "Wonderful. Thank you." Nakita looked over at the duke. "So which business is it that you had in mind?"
