"Hi" his smile were big, indicates how happy he was seeing his daughter approaching but his heartbeat was raising because of Jennie

" daddy..." princess run and jump hug her daddy

"Oh careful baby" Kai laughed while embracing the kid

"I missed you daddy" princess kisses Kai

"And I missed you too" Kai said but his eyes were on Jennie that the later didint see cause she looking at princess things that she fixing. " how are you Jen?"

That make Jennie look at them "I'm good Kai thank you for asking" Jennie then took her phone and message someone. Few moments her phone rang " hello hon, yes we're here, already" ......... "uhm, I don't know yet but as they wanted to eat first before start rooming around" ...... "yes honey.... Baby, mammo wants to talk to you" Jennie put the phone in princess ear and because Kai is carrying her Jennie move crosser to them that makes him smell the scent he adore so much. He look at Jennie much closer now and she still beautiful as ever. While Jennie was looking at princess she didn't see how Kai looks at her.

"Yes mammo, I'll be a good girl"........
"Okay mammo I will listen to mommy"......
"I love you to mammo"
"Mommy mammo wants to talk to you"

"Yes hon, don't worry 😉 message you time to time, i love you" ........ "bye"

"Lisa is so protective" kai speak As Jennie put her phone in her bag.

"Yeah, she love princess so much"

Kai nod  " there's nothing to love in our daughter"

Jennie just give kai a timid smile" baby you can walk, it's a long day don't make your daddy tired so early"

" it's okay, I've been away from her for too long, I could carry her the whole day" Kai said looking at Jennie. Jennie don't understand but there's is this thing she felt so weird when Kai is around that she can't even look at him.

"Thank you daddy" princess embrace Kai's neck

"It's up to you" Jennie walk and kai follows

as the day goes by kai and princess get along so we'll, they rides play and take picture together. Jennie was just looking and following them, she might admit that seeing princess this happy makes her heart flatter and happier.

"Mommy you don't want to ride with us in the Ferris wheel? " princess pleading for Jennie

"Baby I'm okay here"

"Please mommy"

"Let's go Jen. Ride with us  princess will be happy if we ride together"

As Jennie look at princess she saw her daughter with a pout and pleading eyes. "Okay then"

"Yehey, mommy is riding with us" princess clapping and jumping full of joy.

As they que to go in the Ferris princess wants to sit in the middle she moving so much due to excitement

"Baby please don't I've too much" Jennie's have fear of high, only Lisa can make her ride something like this before cause Lisa has this magic power to calm her. Kai notice Jennie turn pale and stiff

"Princess, hold mommy's hand" princess look at Jennie and the girl notice that her mom is scared. She hold Jennie's hand and she hold Kai's hand and put in her lap. "Thank you mommy, thank you daddy, I'm so happy today" princess said innocently that makes Jennie heart melt, enough for her fear lessen and try to enjoy the view of the ride. She can see in her peripheral vision that Kai is looking at her even she don't want to but she turn her gaze and see how Kai smile so happily. He mouthed thank you at her and she nod and look infront of them. Jennie heart beat was raising, she said to herself that it's because of her fear of hight.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Kai ask Jennie as they walk true the exit. She carrying princess cause princess just feel asleep while they were in their queue for riding a carousel. So Jennie decided that they should head home cause princess is tired already.

"Yeah, I can manage"

"Thank you for letting me do this with princess, despite what I did"

"It's fine Kai, let's not talk about the past"

"I'm surely amaze how you and Lisa raise princes. She's a very loving girl"

"Lisa makes sure she will be a better human being, we were so lucky to have her in our life"

Kai feel that pang again in his chest, "did you ever think what could it be if I was the one who's been there?" Kai voice were so sad that make Jennie look at him

" are you sad, oh come on Kai, all this years" Jennie try to ignore that strange feeling she had.

" I don't want to explain my side cause I know it's not going to undo what happened but sometimes I'm asking myself what if I didn't left"

"As I said, it's in the past now, what important is you want to be part of princess life now, you can be a father to her now Kai, it's not too late" Jennie feel guilty about the situation. She can see how sad Kai eye is and she can feel that even Kai don't said it, her being not In love with him make him go away from their life. They walk on silent until they reach Jennie's car. As kai carefully put princes in back set Jennie fix the thing in the front and kai saw a very close view and Jennie again leaning forward. He gulp as he see Jennie's beautiful cleavage and he just stand straight forgetting his haft body we're indie the car, a big bump sound make him hold his head,

"Awwwch..." Kai try not to scream, good thing Princess didn't wake up.

"Ow mha Ghad, what happened," Jennie rush near kai and check what happened. She make sure princess's is fine and as she see her daughter is still sleeping she take a look Kai's head where his hand is holding. " what happened, why you bump your head?"

"Eh l, I forgot I was inside the car" kai still groin in pain

"May i check?" Jennie removed Kai's hand and check Kai's head " oh there's a little bump" Jennie make a little laugh and kai find it cute.

"Just put an ice on it, you want me to run search for ice nearby?"

"No need, I don't want to bother you" kai look at Jennie's eyes. "But thank you"

Jennie still holding Kai's head and when she look at kai she just caught by Kai's intense stare. That when she realize that they were too close and there faces were inch away that make her feel awkward and she move back herself away from him. "Yeah, if your okay now we need to go, Lisa might waiting for us now"

" Uhmm, yeah right" Kai bow his head and there the sad tone again from his voice. Jennie felt the guilt again but she shove it away and walk to go inside her car. "Thank you for and drive safe" Jennie's about to close the car door but Kai stop it and said, "I hope this not be the last we do this kind of bonding Jen"

"Yes Kai, as we said you can be part of your daughter life as long as you want"

"Yeah, thank you again"

Jennie just smile and close the car set the engine and before she drive she wave at Kai and Kai give him a genuine smile.

Kai's POV

As I look at the car driving away from me i feel that hurtful pang in my chest and I wanted to run and chase them.

"I will do everything for the both of you to came home with me"
