In the days that followed the clandestine conversation between Draco and Adrian, Slytherin House seemed to be shrouded in an air of secrecy. Astoria Greengrass, unaware of the late-night encounter, continued to navigate her studies and social interactions with the same grace and poise.

Meanwhile, Draco found himself caught between conflicting emotions. The realization of his jealousy had triggered a self-exploration that extended beyond his feelings for Astoria. As he grappled with the complexities of vulnerability, his interactions with her became tinged with a newfound awareness.
One evening, as the common room bustled with activity, Draco found himself seated across from Astoria by the fireplace. The dancing flames cast flickering shadows across their faces, creating an atmosphere of intimacy that Draco hadn't  anticipated.  "Draco is everything alright? You don't look good today.."  Astoria asked her voice soft like music to his ears.Draco hesitated, unsure of how much he should reveal. "I've just been thinking, Astoria. About a lot of things."

Astoria regarded him with a curious expression. "Thinking about what, exactly?"

Draco took a deep breath, deciding to be honest. "About myself, about the way I've treated people in the past, and about how I want to change."
Astoria's eyes widened slightly, surprise evident on her face. "Change? Draco, you don't have to change for anyone. Just be yourself."

Draco appreciated her sentiment, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story. "It's not that simple, Astoria. I've been struggling with feelings I never thought I'd have, and it's making me question everything."
Astoria leaned in, her gaze searching his. "Feelings? What kind of feelings?"

Draco swallowed hard, his vulnerability laid bare. "Jealousy, for one. And confusion. I've never been good at expressing myself, but I want to try."

Astoria's expression softened, a genuine warmth in her eyes. "Draco, it's okay to feel things. We all do. If there's something you want to share, I'm here to listen."

As the shadows flickered across their faces, Draco felt a sense of relief. Opening up about his vulnerabilities was a step into uncharted territory, but Astoria's understanding presence made the journey less daunting.

As the conversation between Astoria and Draco unfolded, the atmosphere in the Slytherin common room seemed to shift. The usual air of secrecy and ambition was replaced by a rare moment of vulnerability and honesty, drawing the attention of their fellow housemates.
Blaise Zabini, who had been observing the exchange from a distance, approached the pair with a curious expression. "Everything alright over here?"

Draco glanced up, his guard momentarily lowered. "Yeah, everything's fine. Just having a chat."
Blaise raised an eyebrow, sensing that there was more to the story. "A chat, huh? About what?"

Astoria spoke up before Draco could respond, her voice steady. "Just about life, Blaise. You know how it is."
