The Black Spider was ready to pursue his revenge, so he got ready and swung to the Tower, he smashed a window, the broken glass flying everywhere, both him and the Avengers present got small cuts on them.
"Black Spider" Tony hissed and his suit formed around him.

And behind his mask the kid stopped in his track. What was he doing, why was he doing this? All because he lost someone he would bring that loss on someone else? Some of these Avengers had a family!

"Why are you doing this!? All we ever did was help!" Iron-Man exclaimed and Peter came with a painful giggle. "Help? You've caused the death of MANY with your fights, you don't care about the civilians you hurt, you just want the villains gone! When have you ever gone back to your battle arena and checked for survivors!?" He fumed with tears forming under the mask.

The billionaire had taken a few steps back in order to speak with the Captain.
"Where is Spider-Man? We could really use his spider-abilities to fight off this Spider-Mutant" he whispered but Peters enhanced senses of course picked up on it.

"Oh, you miss me? Well guess what! I AM Spider-Man, or what you turned me into at least" he belted and the Avengers looked at him in surprise.

"Stop acting like a kid Spidey! Some got hurt, but it wasn't our fault! That's what happens in battle!" Tony yelled and Peter cried "My aunt was one of those who died! Because I didn't FIND her in time, a lot of people died because it took too long for ME to dig them out of the rubble, if just I had SOMEONE to help me!!" He took a sobbing breath in. "And if I'm acting like a child!? I'm sorry but I AM a child" he hissed and pulled off his mask, wet stripes running down his cheeks, his eyes were already red and puffy.

Tony immediately felt bad for the boy, he remembered vividly his words to him. "Don't bother Spidey! They're probably already dead!" If just he and the Avengers had made an effort to search the building, his aunt would be alive and none of this would've happened.

The quiet sobs still came from the teen who was now on the floor on his knees. Tony walked over to him, knelt down and put his arms around the boy, whom sobbed his heart out.

"I'm sorry" The spider mumbled in tears.
"No, we're sorry, but how about we try again? destroying the Avengers wont bring your aunt back, we'll do out best to protect the civilians and of course search all of the battle-scene for survivors" Tony proposed the offer, feeling a weird instinct in wanting the little spiderling to be safe.

"Promise?" He asked, his voice breaking over.
"We promise" the Captain chimed in and Peter - finally having gotten all the rage pent up inside out of his system, and not having slept in a bed for weeks - fell asleep in Tony's arms.

"What do we do with the Spider-Kid?" Captain America asked and Tony stood up, still carrying the sleeping boy.
"FRIDAY? What's his name and family status?" The billionaire asked and there was a few seconds silence before the AI replied.

"Peter Benjamin Parker, 15 years old, attends Midtown High-school for Science and Technology, he is an orphan and lived with his Aunt and Uncle until his uncle died in an attempt to stop a robbery, his aunt being his last living family member until she tragically being trapped under rubble doing the Avengers fight with Mysterio. Spider-Man found her alive but it was too late to save her..."

Tony shut her up as he didn't need to hear more of it, the kid was right, during their fights there were too many fatalities, too many unnecessary deaths, and especially when they don't search the premises after their battle which was the cause of death for the young spiders Aunt.

"He can stay with us? Can't he? I mean, we do have a room for Spider-Man if he ever wanted to become an Avenger" Tony suggested and Hawkeye quickly agreed.

"Yes! Please, he's so cute as he's sleeping, he reminds me of my son" he pleaded and Cap sighed. "I don't know, he did kill Mysterio and did try to destroy us"

"Mysterio and us killed his last laving family member, so it's not like he didn't have it justified" The billionaire argued and Steve surrendered with a sigh. "Fine, let him stay, then we can also keep an eye on him"

Peter woke up the next day, completely confused as he didn't recognize the room he was in, then he remembered yesterday's events and buried his face in the pillow.

He didn't have the heart to harm the Avengers, he didn't want to anyway, and now he was in some sort of bedroom.

He looked around and saw all the Spider-Man themed things and smiled. The Avengers must've made this for him before he became the Black Spider.

A knock on the door sounded and Tony Stark came in.
"Heya kid, how are you feeling?" He asked and sat down on the bed. "I'm fine, also sorry about Mysterio, and me trying to take down you guys, I don't know what was going through my head" the teenager apologized.

"I think it was grief going through your head, now why don't you get all your stuff to this room and we'll welcome Spider-Man to the Avengers?" Tony asked with a grin and the teen's eyes shone with glee.

"Really? Are you serious, after everything I've done?"
"You're a good kid Pete, you deserve this" Tony said and patted Peter on the back.

And from then on, the Avengers focused more on protecting the people than fighting the villain.

And they lived happily ever after. :)
