Peter Parker had a secret, or actually two. In the nighttime he was the beloved vigilante, Spider-Man, which was secret number one. In the daytime he was a scrawny nerd getting bullied at school by the bully Flash. This is where secret number 2 came in, Peter was bisexual, and had developed an unfortunate crush on the other boy.

Eugene 'Flash' Thompson had a secret as well. One that he would do anything for it not to come to light. He was gay, and had the hugest crush on the masked vigilante going by the name Spider-Man. Even though he didn't know what the hero looked like behind his mask, he had fallen for his witty, quick comebacks and his general humor.

Unfortunately he could see a couple of problems with this: the vigilante didn't even know he existed, and for all he knew, Spidey could be the double his age, if not more. But that was a problem for the future.

Flash was walking to school and saw a certain nerd standing by himself by a locker. So he decided to approach him.

Peter saw Flash approaching and tried to hide the red tint that covered his face.
"Hey Flash" he said, with a trembling voice, the bully probably thought it was out of fear but the reason was another.
"Hey Parker!" He grinned and pushed Peter, but he didn't put much force into it which the brunette was thankful for.

The bell rung and they both hurried to class, it just happened to be a class they had together.

"Today, you'll be working in pairs-" chatter erupted in the class as people quickly made pairs "- don't get ahead yourself as I've already made the groups" the teacher told and the class groaned.

"Ned Leeds and MJ" the pair high-fived and Peter waited longingly for who he would be paired with.

Peters heart dropped, he didn't know if he could properly focus with the other as his partner. But this was also a chance to get to know the other boy better.

The two sat beside each other now and waited for the teacher to tell them their overall subject.

"Right, your subject for this project is heroes, how you will interpret this I'm not to say, but get to working" their English teacher said and Peter looked at his crush.

"So, what do you want to work on?" He asked and the other lit up. "Can we work on Spider-Man? I'm a big fan of his!" Flash chimed and Peter agreed with a grin, easy peasy assignment.

"Nice! We can go to my house to do some work after school today" Flash suggested and the other gave a thumbs-up.

After school Peter stood by the lockers and waited for his partner. Even just thinking that word about Flash made his heart pump, but they were unfortunately just work-partners, and the bully most certainly didn't feel the same way about the nerdy boy as otherwise he definitely wouldn't bully him.

"Sup Nerd" a voice said behind Peter, making him jump a bit, he turned around to see Flash standing with a smile that made blood flush through his face. "Hey Flash, are we going to your house now?"

"Yep" he told and pushed the other gently, not harsh as he was used to which was nice. They took the bus home to Flash and arrived 20 minutes later.

"Welcome to my home Parker" the bully exclaimed and Peter said hello to his parents before the duo going up to Flash's room. Peter was shocked. He couldn't help but just stand and gawk.
