She laid in bed, had to have been for hours as class progressed. She didnt need to attend classes, she was the smartest in her grade maybe in the entire school. She didn't move, she wasn't depressed nor happy. Maybe she was just numb, numb to it all. And to her that was okay, that was better actually. Ethan was her friend, she trusted him and like everyone else she dared to get close to he was gone.

"This is going to ruin her" Dr Saltzman pointed out. "We have to be careful."

"Careful?" Jo furrowed her brows. "Yes, last time something like this happened she went off the rails."

"Dad, shes changed. Shes not like that anymore" The blonde pointed out, this was the last time she'd defend the Tribrid. Her dad looked at her puzzling "You hated the idea of her being here and now your defending her? Elizabeth shes still Klaus Mikaelsons daughter. I can't have my girls letting their guard down around a psychopaths offspring."

"Don't talk about her like that, shes nothing like Klaus. She has a moral compass."

"Hes her father." Dr Saltzman had labeled Hope evil from day one, he tried to be selfless with her to teach her his ways but at the end of the day his mind went back to one name Klaus Mikaelson. He wasn't blind nor stupid, she might be a teenager but shes an immortal one with the thirst to kill just like her family; just like the Mikaelsons.

"She sacrificed her life for us multiple times within a month and you still believe shes like Klaus?!" Jo shouted, tired of her dad mistreated the girl who died for them. Hope was nothing like how he pictured her, she was kind, thoughtful; closed off yes. But overrall Jo knew she was a good person.

"Dont talk back to me, Josette" Her fathers voice was stern, it had also reaked of alcohol. The blonde grabbed her twin, determined to break the argument. Her father was drunk, most likely to forget about this all tomorrow.

It was rare for Lizzie to be the sane twin, it was weird for her to be the one to keep the peace but it seemed like the Tribrid was a touchy subject for her sister. Rightfully so, she had done a lot for this school even donated money to them without being asked. "Goodnight dad" She said for the both of them.

Later that night Jo had planned to sneak out, she assumed her sister was asleep and she had the plan to stop by and see Hope. She hadn't come out of her room in a full 24 hours. No one seen nor heard from her, Jo had been worried and she wasn't sure if her sister would be too accepting after what just happened between them and their dad. So like any teenager she didn't tell her.

The brunette slipped on her bed side slippers, still in her night clothes she slowly opened the door. It creaked obnoxiously loud, she glanced back at her sister to see if she was still asleep; about to make her escape...

"Where are you going?" The blonde asked, still turned over, still looking sound asleep. The brunette sighed, closing the door back. "I'm going to the bathroo—"

"Don't lie to me" The blonde sat up, rubbing her eyes. "I'm going to see Hope" She admitted. "I just wanna know it shes okay."

Lizzie yawned "I'll go with you then"

"What?"

"You heard me, I'll get some ice cream. Lets go cheer up the Mikaelson."

"But—what about dad?"

Lizzie chuckled, slipping on her slides. "Who cares what he thinks."

They knocked on the girls door, ice cream and 3 spoons in hand. Sure it was 1AM but Jo was about 90% sure the auburnette would still be awake.

She Didnt answer the door right away, actually the blonde had to start continuously knocking just for the Tribrid to angrily open the door. Her face dropped at the sight of the two, within a second she went to shut the door again but Lizzies foot stopped her.
