She looked down to the bright red blood that dripped from her hand. Ray was gripping on to his chest, gasping with shock. He didn't think the auburnette would do it, would show him mercy. Especially when she had Mikaelson blood coursing through her "evil" veins.

"You can stay, we can house you. We can give you a life you've always wanted. Or you can leave, and once you leave I want you to stay gone." She held her bloody hand out to him. "So which one are you choosing?"

Jo wrapped her arms around the girls waist, nudging her head into her neck. "I'm going to marry you one day" She smiled, kissing the auburnettes cheek.

Hope turned around, her dress flowing. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Don't ruin the moment, babe. Dance with me, you're graduating." She grabbed the girls hand. "I want to spend every minute we have left, together."

She spun the girl around, dipping her in the center of the crowd. "Have I told you..that I've always wanted to do this?" She leaned down, kissing the girls lips softly. Her hand was placed strongly on her back, giving the auburnette the support she needed to not fall on her back.

"Please, get a room" Lizzie groaned, MG clung to her side. The couple pulled apart, Jo's arm wrapped around her girlfriends shoulder. "This is new, don't you think?" Hope motioned to the two infront of them.

"Don't make a big deal out of it" The blonde rolled her eyes, letting the boy next to her raise their hands. "I got the girl !" He shouted.

Landon came from behind, pushing them apart. "I got the Champagne" He raised the bottle. "Lets go celebrate Hopes inevitable graduation"

"I'll meet you guys, I have one thing left to do" She smiled at the group, knowing that what she was about to do would be really important.

She knocked on the wolfs door, peaking in. Maya laid on her bed, her bags already packed. "Leaving so soon?" Hope asked, holding her hands behind her back. "We havent even cut the cake"

Finch appeared from the shadows. "Its okay, theres plenty of cake where we're going."

Hope nodded "Finch..will you give us a moment?"

"Of course, take your time." She excused herself, leaving her bags on the girls floor before shutting the door. Its safe to say that Finch went against taking Hopes title.

The sun poked in from the windows, lightening the darkened room. Hope took a few steps closer to Maya, with every step she could feel the grief inhaling her. "I know it wont bring him back" She trailed off, showing the wolf a necklace, one that meant more than the world could ever offer. "But he would've wanted you to have this."

The ravenette stood from her bed, slowly grabbing the necklace, she glanced up with glassy eyes. "How did you find it?"

She smirked "I have my ways."

"Thank you" Maya pulled the girl in for a hug, wrapping her arms tightly around the auburnette. "I know how much it hurts to lose a loved one." She pointed out. "But just know, dark paths never lead to any good. If you need anything, you have my number. Use it."

"We have to go" Finch warned. Hope grabbed the girls arm before she could leave, her eyes spoke of trust. "I have one more thing to say."

"What is it?"

"Take care of the pack, its yours now."

She froze. "Wait, you can't. Its your birth right to serve as—"

"That doesn't matter, you're the right person for this job. You're a leader. You can do more for them than I could do in years." She explained with a soft smile. "You will honor my mothers name."

"You can't possibly trust me with this, I'm not even a Crescent."

"But they trust you, they love you. Not all packs have to consist of the same blood line." She let the girls arm go. "You don't want to miss your bus, Maya."

Hope glanced over, her eyes following the hybrid. He bumped into Jed, hurrying to apologize. "Who are you?" Jed asked, looking him over. Hope was tempted to jump in, wanting to give Ray an easier start against all he's done.

"Im Ray but call me Ben" He held his hand out, expecting the boy to shake it. Instead Jed swatted it away. "Thats not what we do around here" He held his first up. "Its nice to meet you Ben."

The auburnette smiled to herself, making her way back to her almost empty room.

The group sat in a small circle, passing the Champagne bottle around and laughing. Hope felt at home, she hadn't been here for longer than a year but it consisted of so many memories. She had become so much more here, she was her own person. Defined by her own morals all because this school took a chance on her, even after she attempted to kill them.

She took a spot next to her girlfriend, grabbing hold of the bottle. "I'm really going to miss this"

"Don't get soft on us, Mikaelson" Lizzie snagged the bottle from her. "Maybe its in our best interest that you don't have any of this, especially since you have to drive so early in the morning tomorrow."

"Its my graduation" Hope crossed her arms over her chest. The brunette rubbed her back. "An awfully sad graduation, you're 19" Lizzie pointed out.

Hope was the first to wake up, her girlfriend cuddled into her neck. The brightness of the sun basically blinding her. She looked over, finding the blonde halfway off the bed. Landon was bent over her small one person couch. MG was on the floor, all sound asleep.

She pushed the blanket off her, looking at the time. She had an hour before she had to be on the road.

She looked over everyone, her hand mindlessly rubbed her girlfriends face. They had grown so strong over time. Not without a few cracks here and there but what matters is how you fix those cracks.

Within an hour she found herself outside the school. Alaric waiting for her on the porch infront of a dark jeep. "You thought you'd be able to leave without saying goodbye to me?"

She smiled up at him. "Of course not" He pulled her in for a bear hug. Tightening his grip around the small but dangerous girl. "You always have a home here"

"I know"

"And" He opened her hand, dropping his keys into the palm of it. "Take care of her" He stepped away, letting her see the Jeep in all of its glory.

"Wait !" Jo ran over to her as she shut the door, the auburnette quickly rolled the window down. The brunette couldnt help but pull her face in, interlocking their lips in a tight kiss.

"Don't forget about me" She warned.

"I could never" Hope winked to her, starting up the engine. "I love you" She mumbled, grabbing the girls chin and kissing her one more time.

And goodnight Los Angeles !!!!

This book has turned into so many things, and although its not one of my most popular it was so much fun to write. I wanted to kill off Landon at some point but I had realized I already made their group small. Plus, sadly he cant die ;-; I coulda made a loophole to that but whatever. Thanks for reading.

"Pen?"

"Don't worry, I'm leaving" The ravenette dragged her suitcase. "I promised my mom I'd meet her in Belgium, never quite made it." She brushed past the girl, too ashamed to look at her.

"It wasn't your fault" Jo shouted. "You were compelled, none of it was your fault."

"It is my fault.." She trailed off, biting her lip. "Because I think, I fell for Hope against my own will."

Jo blinked, she had gotten fairly impulsive since she became a vampire. She connected her fist with the girls face.
