"You have three minutes." was the first thing she heard since she arrived in the room she was thrown into. Caspian came running to the brunette, and Marina sank to her knees to allow him to wrap his arms around her. The girl ran her hand through his deep brown curls.
"Please come back to me." He whispered "please."
Marina sighed deeply, pulling back from the hug to cup his face "Be strong Cas, I'll do everything I can but be strong for me."
He nodded, whipping a few stray tears, "I will."
"Good." The brunette replied simply, giving him a tight smile "I love you." She stood up kissing his head.
"I love you too," Caspian said giving her a watery smile.
She looked over to her dad who sat in the corner, she embraced him with a hug. "I know it's hard without Mom here. But you have to try, for him please, promise me you'll try."
He gave her a small nod, "Times up," the Peacekeeper said walking up to take Marina away. "Promise me," she called back.
He blinked back tears, "I promise."
She stumbled back slightly as he pulled her faster, "I love you." She yelled back taking one last glance. The brunette looked up hoping to stop the tears that were about to fall. Walking faster she stumbled into the room slightly, "Ah there you are!" Pearl exclaimed, rushing towards her. "Chop, chop we're on schedule. Pier is already on the train.".
The escort placed her manicured hand on her back, releasing her from the Peacekeeper's hold. With one last look at her home, Marina entered the train with Pearl still pushing her forward.
They entered a car with a lavish dining table adorned with food, multiple plush chairs, and couches, the final touch being the giant crystal chandelier.
Pearl led her to the chair across from Pier, motioning for her to sit down. "Isn't all of this so wonderful?" She chirped. Marina stared at her. "Alright well, I'm going to make sure your mentors are on board. Play nice you two!" The girl burned hold into the back of the escort's head as she walked out of the train car.
"H-Hi I'm Pier." the boy said sheepishly, his gaze glued to the designed carpet.
" I know," Marina replied shortly, staring out the window. There was a thick tension of silence until the brunette inhaled sharply, "I've seen you play with my brother down at the beach near the dock." She turned her head to look at him, Pier gulped nervously "Y-Yeah Caspian? He's awesome ." Marina leaned back into the seat and closed her eyes, ignoring the fresh trickle of blood seeping around her trembling hands.
