Y/n L/n; daughter of Aphrodite
The girl who lost everything when she was younger, including the only parent in her life. Growing up with struggles of never truly fitting in with the people around her, even with passing smiles or occasional admirers. Nowhere seemed to be a place she seemed truly comfortable except the embrace of her aunt, the woman who gladly took in and guided the young girl.

Years passed as Y/n tried to overcome struggles of trying to seem like she didn't feel different, struggling with reading certainly didn't help. Neither did the way she was able to persuade people with a sweet tone so easily, a trick that allowed her to pass through school with a few close friends and avoid the harsh gazes of your average mean girls. There was always a nagging feeling in her mind, one that drew her to the thought of her mother.

The topic was never brought up, a lingering shadow of a woman she had made up in her mind. Who was she? What did she look like? Why did she have to be unknown to her own child?

Her aunt would always brush off the questions with a small smile, changing the topic with ease whilst dread built up inside the woman. She was aware of Y/n's relations, very aware. She had spent years trying to shield the girl from her connection to her mother's bizarre presence as a goddess. Yet she was never aware of which one, the name her dead brother could never utter.

Yet you can never prevent the inevitable, Y/n had always been aware of stares, but it was the ones who felt like they were looking through her very being that sent a shiver down her spine. Ones that seemed like they where trying to recognise who or what she was. But nothing would of prepared her for the seven foot creature she was to encounter.

In the moment of it's booming approach, all she could process was fear. Not confusion, not even a moment to think, all that she felt was the harsh thumping of her heart against her ribs. She must've looked odd, insane even, but the strange sensation of adrenaline flowing through her veins caused her to pay no mind to her appearance. Her natural instinct to live taking over.

It took too long, she took too long. Her thoughts and fear swirling before she finally darts away, the intimidating beast with a horn in a close pursuit. Somewhere, anywhere that she could find something useful or even hide behind was what she needed to find. Until an old building site came into view, her legs seemingly moving on their own as she hops the fence. Scrambling up some scaffolding before ducking down, her eyes watching the unknown beast before noticing a thin but relatively strong piece of metal pipe.

Her chest rising and falling rapidly as she reaches for the pipe, standing up on the scaffolding and drawing the attention of the intimidating brute that has started to charge towards her. Praying her timing would not let her down as she jumps towards the nearing monster, a yell of determination leaving her lips before she shoves the metal directly into and past it's eye with a sickening squelch.

A golden light emits from the creature's body, it's figure crumbling to dust before her own body hits the floor with a thump. Her breath heavy as she remained on the floor for a few moments to process what even happened.

The girl had ran home whilst still panicked, opening her house door before rushing to her Aunt and spluttering questions. The blood visibly drained from the woman's face before she sat Y/n down, a sigh leaving her lips before she finally revealed everything. Once the girl had finally grasped the situation she was in, the two were headed towards a camp for children like her. Half bloods, the ones unfortunate enough to be related to the gods of Ancient Greece.

Y/n and her aunt both knew it was better for the girl to stay at the camp, not just for summer. The monsters, the danger, it just isn't worth it. Once Y/n was in the safety of the camp, she knew that was the last she'd see of her aunt for awhile

Wandering around the camp with only her essential belongings before being directed towards the cabin of Hermes by a camp director, feeling the many eyes of different children dressed in the same specific orange shirt. A boy who introduced himself as Luke had seemed to have taken a liking to her and showed the girl around, introducing her to his friends, including a girl called Annabeth who he seemed to view as a sister.

It took awhile for Y/n to finally settle, trying out new activities and becoming closer with Annabeth and Luke. Discovering an unknown passion towards archery as she felt the thrilling breeze of an arrow flying past her face and towards the target, her face lighting up as the arrow buries itself in the middle of the target.

A symbol had appeared above her head at the moment, the symbol of a dove. The moment Y/n had been waiting for, to find out who her mother was, and it's the goddess of lover herself.

Over a year or two, with the determination to make her mother proud, the girl had practiced as much as she could. Even being gifted a bow from her mother for the undeniable resilience that she possessed. But one thing she discovered that made her stand out from her siblings, the sweet tone of her voice didn't seem to be some meaningless trick. She has a power known as Charmspeak, one that allows her to influence people simply by her voice.

Now it seems like she finally belongs....
