Never in his life did Zhanghao expect to see what he's seeing now, The Sung fucking Hanbin, is currently with a child next to him, sitting at a table eating an ice cream.
"Maybe is his son idk" Ricky says shrugging and Hao looks at him shocked. "Ricky what the heck"
"I only said what you thought" Ricky says licking his ice cream while Hao continues to watch his fake boyfriend. "You should stop watchi- it might be too late"
Just as Ricky warns Hao that he's staring at them too much and that Hanbin might feel watched, his best friend is caught staring intensely at Hanbin.
It is like time slows down and the rest of the world fades away, leaving only that intimate moment of visual connection between Hao and Hanbin, who, upon seeing Hao, shows surprise on his face.
Hao swallows dryly at the intensity of the gaze and looks away, glancing at Ricky who is staring at him provocatively. "Don't say anything at all"
"You're the one who should be getting ready to say something, because he's coming towards you right now" Ricky says, trying not to laugh at the frightened face Hao has just made.
He slowly looks back to where he was, and sees what Ricky has just told him, Hanbin and the child are coming towards them. He takes the opportunity to observe the child, he seems to be very shy and bears some resemblance to Hanbin's face, and Ricky's words about him being Hanbin's son haunt his mind.
He's so focused on watching him that he doesn't even notice that they're already standing in front of him, so Ricky's elbow bumps Hao's lightly. "Hey guys" Hanbin says smiling at them, Hao looks at him without answering and Ricky does it for him. "This is my brother Yujin" he says introducing the child who smiles lovingly at the two best friends who exchange a look.
"See it wasn't his son at all" Hao says in Chinese to Ricky, sighing with relief to hear that his fake boyfriend doesn't have a son.
"Hi my name is Yujin" the child says embarrassedly to both of them, who melt with cuteness.
"Yujinnie this is Hao, my boyfriend and Ricky, his bestfriend" Hanbin says introducing his friends to his brother who smiles happily, especially at Hao when he hears that he is his boyfriend's brother.
The sound of Hanbin's words echoes in Hao's mind. He opens his mouth prepared to scold Hanbin but then smiles awkwardly at Hanbin's brother who smiles at him as if he were a stuffed toy.
"Hi..." he says awkardly and Ricky presses his lips together, forcing himself not to laugh at the impression his best friend is making.
"Don't be embarrassed Hao, if you're already like that with his brother now, imagine when you meet his parents" Ricky says, putting his hand on Hao's shoulder and winking at Hanbin, and his best friend, upon hearing that, looks at him with a killer stare
"He's cute" Yujin says to Hanbin as he puts his ice cream in his mouth, and Hao looks at Hanbin for help. "How old are you?"
Hao looks at him, this time with a warm smile and crouches down to meet him, "The same age as your brother" when he refers to Hanbin, he looks at him with an annoyed look, causing his fake boyfriend to swallow dry. "And you swetie?"
Yujin shows eight fingers to Hao smiling, "Well Ricky is there a problem if you stay here with Yujin for a while? I need to have a talk with my boyfriend" Hanbin looks at Ricky who nods, and Hao snorts as he gets up.
He looks at Hanbin, who smiles at him, an obviously fake smile. They move a little apart, and Hao looks Hanbin up and down, trying to hide the fact that he's curious to know what Hanbin has to say but hides his enthusiasm with a poker face.
