Zhanghao rolls his eyes after hearing Ricky mention for the third time that he misses his boyfriend. Things between them have developed very quickly, yesterday Ricky went to Gyuvin's house after walking with Hao, and they cleared things up and decided to give it a try.
Ricky laughs at Hao's sulky face, as he sits on the bench fiddling with his cell phone. He's spent the whole day teasing his best friend about his fake boyfriend, and he knows it's made Hao angry.
"Do you want me to call Han-"
"Oh my God Ricky shut the fuck up" Hao shouts as he stands up and picks up his shoe, throwing it in the direction of Ricky who quickly dodges. "I'm tired of you"
"Shut up, you love mee" Ricky says looking at Hao provocatively who shows him the middle finger, causing Ricky to laugh at his best friend's childish behavior.
"Hurry up or you'll be in trouble soon" Matthew enters the locker room, laughing at Hao's sulky face. "And Hao, I have something to talk to you about," he says nervously and Hao looks at him as he puts on his sneakers. Ricky looks at the two confused and picks up his water bottle, leaving the locker room to leave them alone.
"Go ahead" Hao replies as he leans against the locker room wall, still sitting on the bench after tying his shoes.
"So, Jiwoong and I are getting serious, we're not dating yet but we're moving towards it" Matthew says as he looks at Hao nervously. "And he invited me to go to the theater that his mother is going to, and he told me to invite my friends and you and Hanbin especially, so we could have dinner before we go there, like a double date."
Hao looks at him thoughtfully, he honestly doesn't want to go to Jiwoong's mother's theater, not that he has anything against the woman because he's never been to dinner at her house even though they've been dating for nine months, but he's met Jiwoong's mother and knows she's a lovely person.
He also knows why Jiwoong suggested that idea, he knows how much Hao didn't have a good impression of Hanbin and probably also wants to make sure he's okay after the break-up, and also to see if Hanbin is right for him.
He knows how much Jiwoong likes Matthew, and at the time it was upsetting to learn that your boyfriend is completely in love with someone else.
Hao takes a deep breath as he looks away from Matthew to the floor, he really doesn't want to mix with those people, even though he and Jiwoong are very close now.
He looks back at Matthew, who is watching him waiting for an answer and Hao finally decides to open his mouth, "Sure" he says smiling at his best friend who looks at him surprised, then smiles back. "Now, let's go to class" Hao gets up and walks over to Matthew, wrapping his arm around the Canadian's shoulders.
They leave the locker room and go to their classmates. They get there and notice that Hanbin's class is already next to them. Hao looks at Hanbin with his arms crossed, who smiles at him.
Hanbin is currently sitting on the bench, with a girl on either side of him. Hao looks them up and down and feels slightly uncomfortable at the sight of them, so he decides to look away and strike up a conversation with Matthew.
Hanbin looks at Hao and decides to go to him to make the girls who won't let Hanbin breathe realize that they are "dating". He gets up and walks over to Hao smiling, who doesn't notice that he's walking over to him.
"Hey love" Hanbin says as he puts his hand on the waist of his fake boyfriend, who shivers at the touch.
"Oh hey Binnie" Hao says annoyed looking at Hanbin, and puts his hand on the arm Hanbin has around his waist, squeezing it tightly. "How was the conversation with the two girls?" he says, squeezing Hanbin's arm tighter, who swallows dryly, laughing to cover it up.
