Removing the head from that creaton was empowering. The king called for the tongue of anyone who questioned the legitimacy of Rhaenyras children and I was happy to deliver. I felt he deserved to lose more than his tongue, though. Rhaenyra was impressed by my action and nothing could have been better than that.
The way the boys were treated by their uncles at dinner was disgusting. If they had not been the children of my brother I would have taken their heads. Jackets can handle himself, though. He will surely make for a strong warrior.
The way they fought made me proud. The boys have learned to stand up for themselves and to take down those who question their authority and nothing could make me more proud.
Rhaenyra wishes to take them away from here so their antics may not upset her father. I think the boys should be allowed to make their claim. To take out opposition before it has the chance to arrive. Aegon is a fool but Aemmond is a threat. He should be cut down at the knees.
I fear the boy may be the biggest obstacle in keeping the claim on the throne. Aegon, however, is weak. He would crumple at the first sign of battle. He is no conqueror and does not deserve to bear the name of one.
My son Aegon, my perfect boy, is but three years old and could take him down with ease. It must be who raised him.
