Chapter 3

It has been a week since the traitor has been caught. Of course, the news had reached the lov base which was already going crazy after Dabi's departure. Of course, they planned to attack UA to at least get back their dear traitor.

Meanwhile in UA

Ochako pov

It's been u week since we found out our friend Aoyama was the UA traitor which of course crushed us. But there was something about the new guy that made me want to get close to him (platonic only), so the next day walked up to him and introduced myself. His face was covered by the hoodie he was wearing so I couldn't see his expression. "I am politely going to ask you to go away," he said. I stubbornly refused to leave.
"C'mon, I just wanna be your friend. I didn't come to you and say "Hey there pls go die would you" Right" I say a bit sarcastically.

Dabi pov

This girl was already starting to get on my nerves. "I don't need any friends. I'm just gonna be here for 6 months anyway" I tell her trying to shoo her away again. "Then let me be your friend for 6 months and then you can get rid of me," She said stubbornly refusing to leave again. This went in for a few days and I finally gave in to her. She had this big cheeky grin plastered on her face for the day, which felt nice I guess.

Ever since that day, she spent less and less time with her friends and more with me which made me secretly very happy not because she neglected them but because she gave me the company I wanted, Kei's schedule had been really pack that week. Sometimes she just spends her time watching me train, which I totally would have thought she liked me if I hadn't known her lil' crush on broccoli boy.

And gradually I warmed up to her and I guess this was the best thing that had happened to me since I entered the rehabilitation program last month. I eventually even showed my face to which she surprisingly said that I looked like Shoto, but I just shrugged it off. That evening afternoon I finished training and sat beside her pulling her out from the trance of her thoughts. " Chako" " what" "haven't you ever wondered why I came in between class and only gonna be here for six months. Why I have some extra rules like don't fight in a villain attack " I asked her quietly. She looks at me for a moment and replied " of course I do, but I just shrug it off since you didn't want to talk about it, but I do care about you toko" she said her hand moving on top of mine. She then gives me a very reassuring smile.

I month ago I would have never trusted her on my secret but now she was only person I could trust.

Ochako pov

Gradually he had become more and more comfortable with me. I realized that I loved spending time with him than any of my friends. And when deku kun started to date Mellisa Chan I spent a whole day ranting to him about how I wished deku kun would see me as more than a friend. Since then Mellisa Chan spent more time in UA until she had to leave which was one month after toko San leaves. Which means I would have to spent one month finding excuses to avoid them, but right now my biggest excuse was toko kun.

That day as usual I wait for him to finish his training and got ready to nag him to come sit with me. Instead of needing to nag him to come sit with me he came on his own accord. "Chako" " what" "haven't you ever wondered why I came in between class and only gonna be here for six months. Why I have some extra rules like don't fight in a villain attack"he asked me in a quiet voice. I then turn to look at him and then say "of course I do, but I just shrug it off since you didn't want to talk about it, but I do care about you toko." I tell him giving him a reassuring smile. I realized that I felt comfortable around him and had unintentionally dropped the kun. Bringing me to my sense, he surprisingly catches me in an embrace.

Of course I hug him back, but a loud coughing noise interrupts us. "Kei!!" Toko exclaimed happily. He had never been like that near any pros or anyone in that matter. " sorry to ruin your moment" hawks said looking a bit angry or maybe even jealous. Toko was telling hawks that it was a friendly hug and that he should not miss understand. So I put two and two together- toko was dating pro hero hawks. "So hawks is your special person huh toko" I said with a sluggish look on my face. Both of them turned to me, both a blushing mess. "Let me guess, I'm the first to know??" I asked looking at their flustered faces. "Maybe" toko San said and my face suddenly lit up. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone" I say with a cheeky smile. They both look at me relieved, then hawks chuckle and asked me " do you mind if I borrowed my bf" " of course not" I say and suddenly they left and I walk back to the dorms.
