Chapter 25

Touya pov

In the morning I leave for work. After all Tou San was not well and I had agreed to do his part too.

I started my patrol in the city which was fine until a Nomu decided to ambush me. I use my ice quirk to contain it for a few moments,which worked for almost a second. The Nomu had immediately broken my ice shackles and launched on to me. Just in the nick of time I dodged and ended up face down. When I woke up I felt a stinging pain on my right thigh and I also felt nauseous. But suddenly I was not alone. Hawks and Bunny girl were there too. And together we took down the Nomu.

The bleeding in my leg increased and I was starting to lose consciousness.I could feel hawks carrying me and that's all I remembered before losing consciousness.

I wake up in a hospital room and see Nat beside me. He was zoned out and I couldn't understand the expression that he had. Just as I moved he was out of his thoughts and was staring at me. "How long was I out?" I ask him. "Two hours" He replies. "Why does Endeavor care about you?" He asks he, after a long silence. "I'm not sure" I reply. He gets angry at my reply and says "don't act all friendly with him. You don't know him. You don't know what he has done. So don't go get all familiar with him." He has started to cry. I never realized how much my death has affected my family until now. Nat thinks that Tou San is replacing me with, well me.

Before I could say anything the door spring open revealing Yumi. "Did you tell him?" She asks. I shake my head to answer in negative. Nat looks at us both, confused. Suddenly Yumi's eyes glinted with mischief. I kept wondering what she was planning.

Yumi immediately walked towards me and smacked me on the head, making me wince in pain. I rub my head in pain and immediately understood what she was up to. Nat's confusion grew. "Yumi what are you doing here? And you not supposed to smack a patient" He protested. Yumi put on a mischievous grin and asked me "You don't mind me visiting you, right Touya nee." Nat was completely dumbstruck. He looked at me like he had seen a ghost. "You...you're Touya nee" he said making it sound like a question. "Yep" Yumi replies. He immediately hugs me. I felt suffocated and slowly past his back while saying " Nat.... Let go......can't breathe." He immediately lets go and apologizes. Then we all start to laugh.

I was sure from today onward we would be happy. All I had to do was get mom back home and make Nat and mom forgive Tou San. I was only a step away from having a perfect, happy family.

Sorry for the short chapter. I also had low motivation in the last few chapters hence so many time skips. Also sorry if the plot was shit. Sayonaraaa
