Chapter 23

Sorry guys but I'm starting with a time skip. Since this story is mostly about Touya reconnecting with his family, I wanted to do that and I didn't know what to put in between. I also didn't want this story to be too long. Also feel free to put requests in my random book which will only contain your requests.

Touya pov

It had ad been a month since I had joined Tou San's agency. The only problem we had had in the past month was only a robbery and a missing case, over all nothing much. Whenever I get free time I hang out with Ochako or if hawks is free with him, or even train Shoto. Those all were times I would cherish. I also go to visit mother from time to time. I also see Yumi and Nat from time to time. Over all I was happy until today that is.

Me and Tou San were having our daily patrol in the west side of the city, when we were ambushed by two villains. Apparently one was my replacement in the league. Their plan was to capture us and use us as leverage to free Twice and Toga from prison. His quirk could stun any one of our quirks and apparently he chose to stun me. The other guy was just a lackey, whose quirk was worms, like literally worms.

So, here I am watching the whole fight, not being able to do anything and feeling completely useless. Tou san was fighting two villains and the the worm guy was taken down almost immediately. Some minutes later my replacement was almost taken down when spinner entered the fight along with a nomu. Even though Tou San took out spinner easily, the nomu was bit of a trouble. I cuff the fallen villains with quirk cancelling handcuffs and quickly called for backup.

Tou San started to struggle in the fight and seconds later he was thrown to a wall. I wanted to help him so bad. I was angry at myself for being too useless. That stupid villain has stunned my quirk or else I would've been able to help him. That's when I realized that the guy was only able to stun one quirk at a time, but I had two. But if I use my fire Tou San would figure out my identity. But it was better than him being dead, so I decided to reveal myself to him.

As I was done bickering with myself I see Tou San on the ground trying to fight back, but he was too injured. The way he looked at that moment made me angry. I let anger control me. I had no control over both my body or quirk. My whole body lit up in blue flames as I walk towards the Nomu which was just about to attack Tou San. I instantly punch it which didn't do much but, hey at least I got its attention.

I let my flames consume my body just as it did in Sekoto peak but this time it didn't burn. As the Nomu got close to me it lit up in flames and started to screech in pain. Minutes later it turned into dust. Slowly my anger subdued and then I turned to see Tou San who had managed to sit in his own was in utter shock.

I put on a small smile, walk towards him and halt in front of him. Then I get on one knee and lend him my hand and say "You should be more careful Tou San. I may not be there to save you, next time something like this happens." He suddenly pulls me in for a strong embrace, sobbing. I return the gesture and slowly part on his back to calm him down. "When did you get so emotional, Tou San?" I ask jokingly still in the hug. But he doesn't answer still holding me tight. We stay there for minutes until he heard some heroes.

The heroes take the handcuffed villains into custody just as we left. We then went to a rooftop and stood there in complete silence. "I'm sorry, son" he apologize. "It's fine Tou San. I forgive you" I reply then we both just stand there in a comfortable silence.

"Who all knows?" He asked. I think for a moment and reply " Mom, Shoto, Eraser and Hawks" I reply. "Do you wanna come home?" He asks again. "Yes but I don't want Nat and Yumi to find out" I reply. "I'll just make an excuse" He say again. He then asks me whether I still burn myself to such I reply that I don't, Well not anymore

I help him stand and slowly walk him to the hospital. He gets all patched up and then we go to the Todoroki house. There Yumi was in the side taking care of some blue rose plants. She ran towards us just as we entered the compound. "Tou San, what happened?" She asks. I reply saying that it was a villain ambush. She nods and let us inside. I take Tou San to his room and helped him lie on the bed. Then I made sure Yumi was not around and said "Don't work until you're fully healed, ok Tou San." He agrees with a small smile and lifts his hand to ruffle my hair.

Just as he was doing the gesture Nat and Yumi enter the room. Nat looked a bit angry while Fuyumi was clearly just surprised. Tou San didn't seem to notice them, so they left quickly. "Get some rest, I'll be back later to check on you" I tell him again and leave the room. I was walking towards the exit when a voice behind me tells me to stop. It was Yumi. But Natsuo was nowhere to be seen. Yumi walks towards me and suddenly pulls me into a hug which she broke immediately. Did she find out. Or did she hear me talking to Tou San earlier.

She chuckled at my stunned face and says "thank you for not hating Tou San." Ahh that's what all of this was for. "You don't have to thank me for not hating Endeavor. He's a great Person at heart" I tell her, making her stunned for a moment. Then I notice the shopping bag that she had in her hands and ask "are you going for shopping?" She replied with a hum. "Then I'll accompany you there, after all I have to be there for patrol even if endeavor isn't there" I say again. "Sure, thanks" She replies.

We both then leave the house and went towards the market. When we reached there we both split into our own ways.
