Alicia woke up early the next morning. She didn't know why. Maybe it was because for the first time she slept hard and good.
She slid out of bed, careful not to wake Daryl who was sprawled out over the pullout couch. She smiled, remembering their long conversation after the scar incident.
It was nice talking with Daryl. Of course they mostly talked about Alicia's childhood but when she mentioned hunting it was like Daryl completely came out of his shell.
She went into the bathroom, brushing her teeth and pulling on some suitable clothes. She didn't really know what she would do this early in the morning but she had heard Carol say something about books in the rec room.
She walked down the hall, quietly opening the door. "Shit!" She yelped, startled by Glenn who was sitting on the couch. "Holy fuck you scared me." She laughed.
Glenn chuckled. "Sorry. I couldn't stay asleep." He groaned. "I'm never drinking again."
She laughed, sitting down beside him. "Hangover that bad, huh?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
She sighed turning to sit cross crossed on the couch. "Turn around." She directed him.
"What?" He looked very confused.
"Turn your back to me."
"Why?" He furrowed his brows.
She groaned, taking his shoulders and forcing him to turn. "I'm not gonna stab you, just trust me."
"That makes me trust you less." He mumbled.
She laughed, gently placing her hands on his shoulders. "I'm trying to help you."
She took her thumbs and pressed hard on the back of his head where his hairline stopped at his neck. She slowly ran her thumbs down his neck, still pressing hard.
She repeated this for about five minutes before smiling, patting his back. "How do you feel?"
Glenn turned to her, looking amazed. "The headaches practically gone!" He grinned. "I still feel nauseous but it's a lot better."
She smiled. "I told you I was trying to help." She stood up, walking toward the door.
"Where you going?" He asked. "I was making a new friend."
She laughed. "Well consider me like your big sister now. I've got all the remedies in the world. You ever need something you come to me."
"Thanks." He smiled.
She smiled back. "Come eat in a little while and drink a shit ton of water. It'll help."
He fake saluted her. "Yes ma'am."

The group was sitting around a table, everyone eating breakfast. Shane walked in, talking with some people. Alicia didn't pay him any mind until Daryl nudged her, motioning to his neck."What the hell happened to you?" She asked. "Your neck."
"I must have done it in my sleep." He shrugged.
"Never seen you do that before." Rick chuckled.
"Me neither." He said. "Not like me at all."
Alicia noticed how he looked over at Lori, raising his eyebrows. Daryl must have noticed it to because he sent her a look, kicking her foot under the table.
She grinned, kicking him back harder. He narrowed his eyes at her, kicking her again.
Before they knew it, it had become a kicking match, both of them grinning as they kicked each other under the table.
Alicia got an idea, smiling as she took a glob of jelly and smeared it on Daryl's face. He opened is mouth, obviously not excepting that.
He was about to get her back before Dale interrupted. "While you two are playing food fight... we're all going to see what kind of research has been going on down here." He grinned, walking away.
Alicia got up before Daryl could retaliate, shoving his shoulder as she walked by. "I win."
She stood up, walking after her. "You're a bitch." He smirked.
She laughed. "Calm down there cowboy."
He scoffed, obviously not to fond of the nickname. "Bite me."
Alicia grinned, picking up the pace so she was walking a little more ahead of him. "Yeah I bet you wish I would."
